Hotel vacation rentals in Western North Carolina

Had a great one night stay at the guest house. Highlights include the beautiful deck space overlooking the river, and a friendly dog that stopped by to say hello. Be prepared to be out of cell service and wifi May or may not work. Otherwise a very peaceful and well kept space!

Everything about our stay at Diana’s was perfect! Location, cleanliness, attentiveness and all the extras! She made us feel like family and truly cared about us having a nice and relaxing time while visiting! We will be returning guests, cannot say enough great things about this wonderful lady and her place! Go TIGERS!

This place is very nice and quiet and close to nearby restaurants/shops. It's very cozy and have that country/ log cabin feel. The host Dan was extra helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us and there was no problem with late check-in, in case you got in some kinda of traffic jam, etc. He and his wife offered to help with anything they could. Wonderful southern hospitality. We wished we stayed longer. My family loved that place and we plan to rent it again in the future. AA+ P.S.We only went to eat at the "Waffle King" place near by and the folks there were very sweet and welcoming too. Good vibes all around!

Enjoyed our stay and talking with TJ. Nice place, Awesome water view on the deck. Boots Steakhouse / Restaurant is a must do. Great food such as the trout and pork chops. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing down home comfort. Home cooked breakfast, everyone felt like family from the get go!

This is my third stay with D.J. Every stay he has made sure I've felt right at home. I strongly encourage anyone traveling to stay at one of D.J.'s locations

Great stay! Had a quick hiccup with the desk when they were figuring out payment though. Apparently booking through Airbnb results in the room being “prepaid” and that led to some work on their end. Ended up quickly and completely sorted by management so no real complaints there. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Squeaky clean and close to Mission hospital. It was the perfect place to stay the night before surgery. The front desk was very helpful with check in and directions. 10/10 worth the price and nicer than most hotels in the area.

This was the third year in a row that I spent 2 nights at Grayson Highlands General Store & Inn. I have never experienced a negative circumstance and will continue to return yearly on my birthday. If you are living your life in high gear, you will want to slow down and take in the peace and beauty of the surroundings. You won't need to pack anything; Paula carries everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. (and that includes fuel for the car).

Wow this place was amazing. We stoped in on our way back to Detroit from Florida and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The place has amazing ambiance and views. We enjoyed the ride up the mountain at night it was so beautiful. The stars were amazing that night . Also Lisa let us check out at our own leisure and time she really was a great host. We are going to bring back the family.

If you are looking to stay in Benton this is definitely the place . It’s beautifully located with amazing scenery. The room it self was very clean and cozy . The shower/bathroom is definitely on point . Just the attention to detail that was put into this place is amazing!! Dylan is definitely a super host . Check in was super easy as well as check out. The later check out time was perfect!! 10/10 Recommend!!!

Exactly what I was expecting based on the listing. Perfect location for hiking in the smoky mountains. Easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock. Would stay here again when I am back in the area.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing, just like the listing. It was just what I needed to relax and kick back. The river running by is so soothing and was particularly beautiful with the fog coming off it in the morning. Thank you!
