We have just had the most incredible stay at Nichola’s place for my sister’s hen do. From the moment we arrived, she was warm and welcoming and met us to show us around. She also came to say bye at the end of our stay and asked how we got on which was lovely. The house itself is amazing and somehow exceeded our expectations- the photos look brilliant but in person it is stunning! Would definitely recommend!

The property was perfect, the pictures are lovely and they reflect the quality. The property once there is outstanding and very peaceful. It’s one of those hidden Gem AirBnBs, we loved the stay and will hopefully return.

It was a total pleasure staying at Gillian and Wayne’s! They were great hosts, always responsive and helpful. The place was spotless and very well presented! Gillian and Wayne also left lots of useful information around the house to make our stay as convenient as possible. The place was filled with plenty of supplies and the hosts even left us cookies and a bottles of Prosecco to enjoy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a peaceful beachside retreat!

We had a wonderful time at Hare Lodge. The accommodation is exactly at described, comfortable, clean and so peaceful. Lisa was such a friendly and responsive host and answered all our questions before our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived. We had a lovely welcome gift which was very appreciated. Hot tub was fab, location was beautiful. The lodge had everything we needed and we can’t wait to visit again.

Highly recommend The Little Dairy. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. David kindly met us on arrival and showed us around. It is lovely accommodation, comfortable and well equipped. The extras were extremely welcome ( including fruit, bread, cereals, crisps, bottled water). Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn to celebrate two special family birthdays. It was even better than the photos, which is not always the case, and provided an extremely comfortable and open space to relax in, and great outdoor area. It definitely had the 'wow factor' for us and we couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. Really nicely furnished and a very well equipped kitchen, along with three immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a separate TV room was a bonus and made made the main area much more sociable. Charlie and Ali were friendly and helpful during our stay. We all had a great time, and so did Wilf (the dog), and can absolutely recommend staying here. We would love to visit again at some point in the future. Thanks very much for a happy and memorable stay.

Despite the weather which was better than expected , we had a lovely stay. The area is beautiful.

The Old Bakery was a real find. Jude and Will are hosts who go above and beyond. They couldn’t do enough for us. Not only was the apartment clean, cosy and comfortable, but they had provided everything we needed for breakfast, and told us if there was anything else they could provide to just ask. They were so friendly, communicative and helpful, and said if there was anything we needed or had problems with, to contact them day or night. Those personal touches make a huge difference. We enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden at the back for our breakfast! We had a nice pub meal one night in the Ropemakers in town, which was only a 10 minute walk away. We also had a lovely walk across the cliff path from Bridport to Eype, which was a lovely pebble beach. We visited Sculpture by the Lakes, which was a beautiful place, and Forde Abbey gardens, all of which are worth visiting if you like a bit of peace and tranquility. Thank you Jude and Will. We’d love to return!

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

What an amazing place for a solo bank holiday weekend to reset and recharge! Terry’s apartment was perfectly located and had everything I needed. Train station close by and right next to the beach for those early morning dips and lots of amazing hikes and running routes nearby. I recommend The Smugglers Inn for a lovely Sunday Roast, and it’s right on the coastal path which is a stunning hike. There’s a lovely cafe and local convenience store for essentials right on the doorstep of the apartment - and the balcony is a prime spot for a coffee, taking in the waves and watching the world go by. Being able to hear the waves through the windows in the apartment was pretty special! A great stay and a super friendly and communicative host. Thank you Terry!

I had a lovely stay here, everything was perfect, the apartment is very clean and comfortable with a wonderful view form the patio,has everything you need, in a nice residential area very near to the high street but felt very quiet & peaceful there...Vanessa gave some really helpful directions, it was easy to find, I would very much recommend.

Stayed here with my husband and son and could not recommend highly enough - we are hoping to return next year! Amazing location right near the beach and everything you need is within a short walk. Matt gave us loads of useful recommendations for the local area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Clean and well maintained. Fabulous location, right on the esplanade. Excellent mattresses. West Bay itself; we were worried about the caravan park and that this can generate constant nagging from the kids about sweets, arcades and plastic tat, but there was none of this. It’s a little harbour (good crabbing), a beach and coastal walks with a few ice cream and food options. This week the beach generated very strong waves that were not suitable for younger children, my 11 and 14 yr olds loved it. “Rise” restaurant was superb.

Jonathan was a wonderful host! Very proactive in offering recommendations and ensuring we had a great time! The breakfast cafe ‘Soulshine’ nearby was a delight so thank you for sharing! Clear information on how to check in/out, the place was perfect as a base for us ti explore Bridport and the surrounding areas! Will be back again soon for another visit!

Our second stay here and it won’t be our last ! Very spacious, extremely comfortable and sparkling clean.Everything thing works extremely well. Fab kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable furniture and easy to use TV. Enormous comfortable bed and very user friendly bathroom. Definitely not exclusively for people with access problems but for my husband in a mobility scooter it was perfect. Easy and safe parking and perfect location. Are you getting the vibes that we liked it ! We are looking forward to coming back ! 😀😀

Beautiful location, cute loft. It's a lovely 50 min walk via a field and river walk into Lyme Regis. Definitely recommend this way rather than the road as that's hard work. Don't rely on buses or taxis unless you've booked. The facilities in the loft are plentiful and it was a lovely place to sit and read on the decked balcony. The mattress and pillows are the most comfortable I have ever experienced! Unfortunately, the bed was so low with my painful legs/knee surgery, I needed help to get out which was a bit of a nuisance for mid night bathroom trips. Sofa also lie but sat on a cushion and managed ok. lots of people mention the ceiling height, my husband is 6 foot and managed fine, yes it's a bent shuffle down the side of the bed but manageable. All in all a lovely peaceful weekend with some great nights sleep. Beware, if you are thinking of using the local pub (5 mins walk), lovely place to sit out the back bit they weren't doing food and also weren't open Sunday evening.

Beautiful accommodation. But because we are 80 we felt a little isolated as we couldn’t manage to walk from the property, it would be better suited for younger fit guests

We had a really enjoyable stay. Caroline provided good instructions on how to get there and the guide book then had lots on information regarding the apartment and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

What a wonderful place to stay for a really relaxing weekend. The annex was perfect for the two of us with everything we needed and Mari was very welcoming and informative. Would highly recommend.
