My partner and I stayed at Olivia's to attend a PhotoFrome event. Her home is beautiful, welcoming and peaceful and in a perfect location in central Frome. Our room overlooking the private garden was lovely and comfortable. Olivia was a very obliging host and it was very easy to make arrangements with her before we arrived. She made us feel very welcome and at ease. Her dog Teddy is a sweetie and very happy around people. Thank you Olivia! We would definitely recommend Olivia's home and book her place again!

We really loved staying here - our getaways with a toddler + 2 dogs can be stressful, but this was such a great place to stay that it removed all stress. The location was peaceful and quiet, the village itself was small and walkable for the local pub and playground for our daughter. It was easy to drive to local tourist spots and all the roads were fine. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. Can’t thank our hosts enough for such a pleasant stay.

Everything was beautifully presented and welcoming. All the little touches were gratefully appreciated. My stay was such a treat. I felt so looked after by Louisa. A wonderful stay - one I didn’t really want to leave from.

Such a wonderful find! We loved that we had our own wing of the house. Huge ultra comfortable bed with soft linen in a warm, cosy, beautifully lit and decorated bedroom. The bathroom had the same attention, with large shower and big soft towels. We had use of a living room with an enormous soft sofa. In the morning Sophie made us the most delicious muesli, that I keep thinking of since eating!, with warm croissants and extra fruits. We both felt thoroughly spoilt. There was such an amazing attention to detail, she had thought of everything we may need. We just need to find another excuse to stay there!! Thank you so much Sophie & Paddy for a truly wonderful stay!

Louis is a top class host , he provides a comfortable , spotlessly clean and efficient place to stay. We liked the fact that we got clear instructions to access the house / room and effective help when we needed it. Thank you again ! Also great street parking - would highly recommend Louis’s place if your staying in Sandbanks.

David and Paul are clearly experienced hosts. Very nice, open (and funny) and super helpful. We warmly recommend this airbnb. If we ever do anything in the neighborhood, we'd love to come and enjoy the delicious breakfast again!

Me, My partner and 3 children stayed here for one night before heading to longleat safari park. The place was in immaculate condition with plenty of trinkets / games to keep the kids entertained. This was our 2nd visit to Hilary’s, as before we had a great welcome, the room and bathroom were spotless, and very comfortable. Hilary is an excellent hostess, easy to chat with, and extremely kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was great, very generous and plenty of choice. Would highly recommend! Many thanks Hilary!

Lovely room & host. My room was located on the ground floor with a very pleasant bathroom for guests use just across the corridor and next to the kitchen. Frances was a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.

Myself and my fiancé stayed at Anna’s for a short getaway and we would thoroughly recommend this Airbnb and host to anyone! Anna was so friendly and welcoming and her breakfast was delicious! The location was ideal and could not be faulted. The room itself was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thank you so much Anna.

Darren and Chi made us feel so welcomed in their home. Breakfast was delicious and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. Their home is ideally located adjacent to a stairway leading into Bournemouth Upper Gardens and about a 16 min jog to Bournemouth main pier/beachfront. Perfect if you're looking for a weekend away on the coast!

Sometimes travelling you stumble across the right person in the right home with the right attitude with a wonderful nature. I thought the first time I visited I had found that Air BnB and now my feelings are truly confirmed. Every box is ticked for me in order to recover from the busy day. I will be staying every couple of months from now on and I would highly recommend Ali as your host if you are visiting wonderful Dorset or neighbouring counties for either pleasure or business. And what pleasure grounds you have within a short drive: Stourhead landscape gardens, Shaftesbury, Dorset villages, Georgian towns, ancient villages...what is not to enjoy. Oh and the Jurassic coast. I will shut up now but honestly you cannot go wrong if you book a stay with Ali. Thank you.

Maria was a fantastic host, really responsive and welcoming. The place was exactly as described and a perfect place to stay.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

Ian and Wilma were the perfect hosts, the house was spotless and quite beautiful. We have no complaints whatsoever, thank you both, oh and the Lobster Pot in Portland was spot on.

The room is very comfortable and quiet and both Rebecca and her gorgeous dog Tess were welcoming and charming. It's a lovely homely place to stay. I would've loved to stay longer.

Tudor Rose Cottage is a charming and cozy retreat with everything you need for a comfortable stay, with thoughtful goodies that were very welcome after a long trip. The cottage is well-equipped and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere - my Australian husband’s first experience of a thatched cottage was a great one. Be sure to take note of the quirky stairs, which may not be suitable for everyone, though they were manageable for us. Parking was easy, right outside the door. The surrounding village is delightful, offering a peaceful setting and a great base for exploring nearby attractions such as Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Cerne Abbas, Kingston Lacey, and more. Recommended.
