Townhome vacation rentals in West Dorset District

Isobel was incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations. She has a beautiful home that is perfectly located for the beach and country park with all the activities that each offer. We couldn’t have hoped for a more home from home Airbnb and the friendly, down to earth local pub at the end of road was perfect. We cannot recommend Isobel and he lovely home highly enough.

We had a lovely stay in Sally's gorgeous house in Somerset. There was more than enough space for the 8 of us, a beautiful kitchen and living room, and the garden was fantastic for the kids to run around in. We had a lovely weekend climbing Glastonbury Tor and exploring the local area, as well as trying out Sally's local recommendations. Thank you for having us!

A really lovely place to stay. It had all that we needed. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable and cosy. Lovely welcome wine and biscuits on arrival.

This is fantastic find. Sug and cosy, it is very well situated for easy access to the attractions of Wells and beyond. It is so thoughtful of Fiona to provide nice touches like fresh milk, especially as I arrived after the shops had closed. It's a lovely mews cottage; like being embraced by an old friend.

A lovely place to stay, in walking distance of the beach and Weymouth centre. Hot tub and other facilities were very good and the place was clean, stylishly furnished and comfortable. Host was responsive when we had an issue (many thanks to Lorraine the cleaner too who was lovely and very helpful!)

This is a firm family favourite. The view is just incredible. No matter if the weather is good or bad it’s an absolute pleasure to be in. The kitchen is great to cook in. The lounge so comfortable to just relax in and admire the view. One of my favourite things is in the evening is sitting on the terrace and listening to the unique sound you get of the waves breaking due to the size of the pebbles on that end of Chisel beach. There are lots of lovely places to eat round there too. Portland is great as it’s not over run, and so close to other amazing places along the Jurassic coast.

We had a lovely stay at Seaside Cottage, very tastefully decorated, kitchen perfect for what we wanted, hot tub was great, we had a chilled weekend, thank you!

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved playing in the garden and nearby football field and walking to nearby Chesil Cove. The house was spotless and smelled really lovely too. Absolutely wonderful - we would definitely like to stay again.

THANK YOU! The most amazing break we have had in the UK in months. We loved the location and the house was a totally calming paradise. We have busy lives in London, and we had the most restful weekend here. Weather was a mixture of storms and sunny days, therefore we had a taste of everything. We have a place in Branscombe so usually stay there, but it was so nice to stay somewhere that we loved just as much. Just perfect and cannot wait to return. The place is stunning, so clean and just as the photos shown. Access also super easy and the tesco within walking distance is so handy. Thank you again! xxx

This little two-story townhouse was a perfect private retreat for us. Yes, is it a bit of work to find it as it is behind a gate and down an alley but the whole setup is charming, personal and homey. We loved our stay. The house is beautifully designed in modern style, surprisingly light inside thanks to the skylight and glass front. When you need the darkness the blackout privacy screens are there for you. The house was clean and very comfortable to stay in, we even requested an extra night and Sally graciously obliged. Thank you Sally. We loved your home and your city.

We have just had a fantastic week staying at Rachel's house. We had planned spending all week in and around Bournemouth town center and beaches, until we realised how much Westbourne itself had to offer and how central the house was to it all. There are so many fantastic little eateries, we had breakfasts in 44 Bamboo, Circo Lounge and Moka Pot and evening meals at Romanzo, Renoufs, the Westbourne and the Lazy Fox. We walked down as many Chines as we could, the prom was beautiful in the day and night too. Out and about we visited Weymouth, Durdle Door, Christchurch, Swanage & Sandbanks. We could have stayed another week and still not done everything we wanted. The house was spotless and very comfortable, there were lots of little extra touches, including a welcome basket from the local Deli, an informative welcome booklet, beach and board games. Rachel's communication was excellent, making our stay very special. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Delightful place for our stay with 4 adults and 3 children. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. The washer and (rare to us) tumble dryer was particularly helpful for traveling by the coast with children. Would happily return!

As a multigenerational family there was something for everyone at the house. It was very comfortable for my parents whilst the proximity to a lovely park with children’s playground was perfect for the kids. The beautiful garden was great too. We would highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay. The house has everything you need. Really comfortable and clean. Pat answered all our messages supplying local information and contacting us about the Watchet wheelbarrow race which we all enjoyed. We really enjoyed our time in Watchet.

The house is in a great location with all the amenities and restaurant. Specially the beach was just 10 minutes away on foot. Had all the convenient utensils. Lovely little outdoor patio was perfect for us. This is a great house for us and very comfortable. Thank you so much for the great house.

We loved our stay at this wonderful house in Frome with our dog. The brand new kitchen and dining room renovation is just beautiful. We felt very lucky how new it all was! The house is a mixture of original features and modern touches, we absolutely loved it. Very dog friendly and Ryan is a lovely responsive host. Comfy beds, and lovely shower and large bath we used both! Great location just a few seconds walk into town. We loved Frome. It was also such a pretty town and we especially loved Cheap St. with all the independent shops and a little stream. We also had a fantastic meal at the Little Walcot. 5 stars from us and our pup. We will be back!

Clean, updated place just out of town center with car parking. It was nice to be able to walk to everything in town. Neighbors are close, but it was quiet after dark.

Really beautiful place could happily live here. Really homely. Lovely art. Great kitchen and bathrooms. Sofa so comfy. Mattresses where sooo comfy. Nice shower and bath. Great facilities plenty of car park space. Close to shops , bars restaurants etc. Would definitely stay again. The only thing is the lack of blinds/ curtains, especially in the bedrooms, only one of the 3 bedrooms has a blind. Which is a problem Apart from that perfect.

Another great stay at this lovely property. A real home from home in a convenient and sought after location with everything we need. Whitecliff Park and Poole harbour within walking distance, nice flat walk to Poole quay along the water’s edge. Great communication as always from Gwen. We loved our stay at White Rabbit. We especially loved the location and the garden. The apartment has been well prepared for guests, with clear instructions upon arrival, a welcoming atmosphere, clean ( I seemed to notice it was very clean), all the essentials required for a comfortable stay and then more! Being right in the heart of Glastonbury we were very happy here with cafes and shops we could stroll to easily. Even though I didn't need him for anything, I felt Keith would have been ready to look into any issue we had. Thanks for being a great host, Keith. Communication was also spot on.
