The house is perfectly positioned within the heart of the bustling coastal town of Wells-Next-the-Sea and is walking distance from the picturesque quay, award winning sandy beach and numerous pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops.

It is in a small group of houses, three minutes’ walk from the Staithe with its sailing club, fishing sheds, ice cream truck, the marshes and coastal path. Enormous skies, sun and soft winds make this an area we have loved to return to for over 25 years. We hope that you will come to love it as we have.

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

Great find! Was really impressed with this place and it was perfect for what we needed for the weekend. Had everything you could think of, even toys and games for children, as well as a complimentary basket of goodies for us when we arrived! We enjoyed the juke box the most and listened to lots of songs on there! The house fitted 7 of us comfortably and was very clean! Lee was very proactive and ensured we had a great stay - thank you!

Just returned from a weekend break at Kirsty's chalet & literally cannot fault it! spotlessly clean, check in was straight forward and there were some lovely little welcome gifts for us & the kids which were a lovely surprise. swimming pool was a couple minute walk & brilliant.. beach was only a 10 minute walk away and also only 10 minutes to yarmouth pier 😊 100% we will return. Perfect accommodation for the Family. Busy but not rushed. Swimming pool a fantastic bonus. Grandchildren and myself swam every day. Other adults enjoyed the sauna as well. Didn't travel far from our home to get there but had such a brilliant time it could have been anywhere. Dogs loved the garden and beach. We had a brilliant week. The hosts were responsive and sent clear instructions to check in. The house was lovely and clean when we arrived and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The kids loved the pool and it was lovely and warm and a great size. The garden is massive and looks out over the sea. You can walk on the beach within 5 mins from the house. Thanks for having us we all really enjoyed our stay.

We had the most wonderful stay, the house is absolutely stunning and is beautifully furnished it has everything you could possible need. It is close to the town centre and the beach. Liz is a fabulous host, always replied to any queries very quickly. The only downside is the parking as there is only 1 car park space at the property but we managed to find a space on the road and we totally understand that this is out of Liz's control.

we had a very relaxing stay at the coastguards cottage. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home and the surroundings are just as stunning. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the business of city life for a few days! There is limited electricity as advertised but we had no issues and were easily able to charge phones and lights.

Stayed here to celebrate my Husbands pending 60th. Six adults and dogs. Well this house has the wow factor all over it, thoughtfully built beautiful extension and very mod cons and plenty of space for a large gathering. It did take us some time to get used to the key fob for the front door but I suspect that was more us! We had lovely beach walks and then enjoyed the garden and bbq area. We all had a great time! Thank you so much!

We loved Simon's house. Positioned in a lovely courtyard, set back from the road, all the amenities of Wells are in easy reach by foot. The house is compact but with everything you need for a couple. Lovely furnishings and nicely decorated, we felt very comfortable there. There's even a little terrace with table and chairs to sit outside, it wasn't warm enough for that on this visit but we will definitely plan to return!

100% Recommend Olive House! We had an amazing stay at Olive House — it’s beautifully decorated with a luxurious and comfortable feel throughout. A beautiful home on the outskirts of Wells. We loved watching the horses and rabbits in the field opposite the house, the multitude of birds visiting the garden and still being very easily walkable into Wells. A great house with lots of space, which can be a rarity in Wells.
