Vacation rentals with beach access in Waterland

Very welcoming family, they really care about this place and guests. You can chat a bit, take recommendations, ask for assistance with stuff like parking options around or second sheets and it’s all with respect to guests privacy and headspace so even if you’re introverted like myself you can still experience Dutch friendly vibe without being overwhelmed. Walking distance from busy streets but in peaceful neighbourhood makes this place such a gem.

Thank you Irene and her family. We had a great time at her place. The king size bed is super comfy (I forgot to ask her what is the brand of the mattress😅) Irene prepared everything to welcome our stay, a well detailed instruction, also mention the heat control. We were lucky to have sunshine days at her place, in the centre of the farm fields, next to a quiet river. I would recommend small family to stay at this place, two sofa bed fit for young kids. If you self drive, easy access to Edam, Voledam, Marken area. Just a little remind, the shower room, washroom locate downstairs, need to walk up and down from the studio.

Robin is a likeable and helpful hostess. She gave us helpful tips on parking and public transport. The check in time was flexible. The apartment is very nice and located directly on the park by the water. We would like to stay there again.

Joyce and Tim’s place is one of the best air bnbs I’ve stayed in! Their home was spotless and had lots of space for us. They even provided some breakfast items for us in the fridge which was a life saver after a long day of travel. As a runner, this home was located in the perfect neighborhood to get a run in along the water. I was hesitant about the location because it wasn’t in the city centre but their home is right next to a tram station and it was quick and easy to get around all of Amsterdam- so don’t let this stop you from booking their home! I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time. The house is spacious with a small exterior overlooking a waterway. Amsterdam is very accessible by public transport. Good communication with Gerrit.

We had a beautiful stay: a spotless impeccable, Froukje was always available for advice, a beautiful and spacious house equipped with all amenities, in a very beautiful location, within walking distance of the IJsselmeer and very close to Amsterdam. Really top !

Tirsa is a wonderful homeowner. The location of the house is perfect. You can go to Nord station by bus in 10-15min. The house is extremely clean. Many household supplies and coffee/tea varieties and many spices were left at home. The bed linen and towels were clean and smelled nice. You feel like you are at home. Because everything is available in this house. There is even a huge iron with steam generator! House owner Tirsa who really deserves praise. Please don't upset her. I will choose this home again at next Amsterdam visit.

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

This was such a wonderful find just outside of the hustle of Amsterdam! The house was clean, easy to enjoy with a family. Close to the beach, store, transportation. Quick tram ride to the heart of the city but a nice escape from it. Communication was excellent and Guido made everything easy!

Very comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation, very well located in relation to Almere Poort station with quick and easy access to Amsterdam. Good for resting after a busy day in Amsterdam. I recommend it.

I stayed in Balaz's apartment for a week with my two older daughters. It is very tastefully furnished and has everything you need. The apartment is the ideal base for excursions into the city center of Amsterdam, the connection by streetcar is easy to reach and you are at the central station in a quarter of an hour. When you've had enough of the hustle and bustle of the city, you can relax in the apartment or on the nearby beach. I can highly recommend Balazs' apartment for Amsterdam vacations.

Since our return flight is very early, we wanted to stay in an area close to the airport. Erwin's home meets expectations in this regard. We reached the airport in 7-8 minutes by car. Likewise, when we wanted to reach the city center, after a short walking distance, we reached the tram station 2 and reached Dam Square in about ~30 minutes. The amenities in the house (kitchen utensils, fresh towels, etc.) were in place, we needed very little additional. The only downside to the house was the risk of not having a glass section in the bathroom in the shower area and the water flowing to the toilet side. Other than that, the house was very clean and tidy. The neighborhood is a peaceful, quiet and calm place.

We visited Amsterdam for the very first time to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and staying at Brian’s place made the experience even more special. From the start, Brian was incredibly responsive and helpful, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. He met us early in the morning to take our bags after our long flight, and even carried them up the stairs so they were waiting for us in the room when we checked in later that day. He was also super flexible with our check-in time, allowing us to enjoy the city at our own pace without having to rush back. The apartment itself was bright, spotless, and had plenty of space for the two of us. Most importantly, it was such a relief to have a reliable, professional, and friendly host while traveling internationally. Thanks to Brian, we never had to think twice about our accommodations and were able to fully focus on enjoying our anniversary trip. We’re so grateful for the experience!

Sake and Marleens place was clean, easy to reach via public transport and spacious! We had a great time and Sake and Marleen were very easy to reach and overall great hosts! I would love to stay with them again if ever back in Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful time as a family. The hosts provided LOTS of toys, crib, baby gate, changing pad, high chairs, kids furniture, more than we have had anywhere else we have ever stayed! It was truly a home away from home and we loved getting to visit this slice of Amsterdam. The location was also incredible, right on a canal, with tram lines, grocery stores, coffee shops, playgrounds, restaurants, markets, and more all in walking distance.
