Vacation rentals with beach access in Waterland

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – modern, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage direkt am Wasser. Es war herrlich, morgens mit Blick auf das Wasser aufzuwachen und den Tag in so entspannter Umgebung zu starten. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man in nur 10–15 Minuten mitten in Amsterdam und kann das Stadtleben in vollen Zügen genießen. Perfekt für alle, die eine Kombination aus Ruhe und Stadtnähe suchen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

Disfrutamos de un pequeño Paraíso, Edam. Una ciudad espectacular que se complementa con la hermosa casa de Diana y Paul para pasar unos días maravillosos y en paz. Edam está como a 40 min en transporte público al centro de Ámsterdam y el desplazamiento es relajado y placentero. Diana y Paul son personas muy amables, serviciales, atentas y ponen todo su esfuerzo y dedicación para brindarnos una estadía agradable. Gracias, muchas gracias.

We’ve enjoyed staying at Gerrit’s place. Host was friendly and communicated well. House has a lovely little garden 🏡, and beautiful surroundings 🌳🏡. It’s a peaceful neighborhood! highly recommended :)

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Froukje ist eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Die Anreise verlief reibungslos. Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt, sehr sauber, alle wichtigen Sachen waren vor Ort und eine ruhige Lage. Als Tipp für andere, die diese Unterkunft nutzen, um nach Amsterdam zu fahren: Fahrt 12min nach Weesp mit dem Auto (dort gibt es einen kostenlosen Park&Ride Parkplatz). Von dort fahren 4 mal die Stunde Züge nach Amsterdam (in 15min).

Välstädat hus som passade oss perfekt. Tirsa är en underbar värd som anstränger sig för att göra det lilla extra för att du skall trivas

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We really enjoyed staying at Ebbie's house. It is a well decorated house and the details make you feel really good and at home. The garden was very enjoyable. The house was very clean, which was important to us. We were very comfortable with my 2 years old son, his bed was ready, there were toys that he can play even sleep. :) There was everything we needed in the house, in the kitchen and we enjoyed everything. Ebbie and her husband were very attentive to us from the beginning, we had a problem with the electricity on the last night and they came and looked at it immediately. They could not solve the problem on time but they made up for it later. Apart from that, we love the location of the house, Edam and its surroundings are very enjoyable to explore. We would like to stay in this house when we come to the Netherlands again. Thank you :)

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und haben die Unterkunft von Ben und Inge für 3 Nächte genutzt. Zum einen die Nähe von Amsterdam ( mit Bushaltestelle in der Nähe und dem Zug ab Weesp... total easy ! ) und den echt schönen kleinen Städte Weesp, Muiden und Naarden. Inge hat uns auf Wunsch jeden Morgen ein unfassbar tolles Frühstück gebracht. Sie ist eine tolle sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen tollen Start in den Tag. Wir haben uns bei Ben und Inge total wohl gefühlt und haben Ihre Gastfreundschaft sehr geschätzt. Die kleine eigenständige Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, sehr sauber und gemütlich (wie auf den Fotos) eingerichtet. Eigentlich ein richtiger Geheimtipp, ....psst,aber nicht weitersagen :-) Danke Euch, Inge und Ben für die tolle Zeit ! Thomas & Astrid

Soggiorno di 4 notti in 4 con 2 bambini di 3 e 6anni. La casa di Guido è ideale per i bambini che hanno molto appressato il salta salta nel giardino oltre che gli spazi esterni ed interni molto vivibili. Nonostante il circondario sia residenziale il centro è raggiungibile in 15 minuti di tram. Assolutamente consigliatissimo.

Très jolie maison mitoyenne de grand confort sur 3 niveaux. Proche d une gare qui permet un acces au centre d'Amsterdam en 25 minutes.

I stayed in Balaz's apartment for a week with my two older daughters. It is very tastefully furnished and has everything you need. The apartment is the ideal base for excursions into the city center of Amsterdam, the connection by streetcar is easy to reach and you are at the central station in a quarter of an hour. When you've had enough of the hustle and bustle of the city, you can relax in the apartment or on the nearby beach. I can highly recommend Balazs' apartment for Amsterdam vacations.

We spent a wonderful week at Derek's place. Very easy to get to via public transportation from the airport. Derek was responsive to messages and met us when we arrived to hand over keys and gave a quick tour. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated, the kitchen had everything we would need if we wanted to cook. I love the Dutch configuration of having the shower in its own huge room and separate room for the toilet. The balcony was a lovely place to sit in the afternoon sunshine. The neighborhood was within walking distance to Museumplien, Melkweg, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation. Would stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Eva’s spacious and beautifully renovated ground-floor apartment (with step free access). The location is great for those who enjoy peace and quiet, yet it’s still close enough to the city center. Just minutes from Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark, it offers a nice balance between relaxation and accessibility. The apartment was cozy and well-maintained, with access to a peaceful garden terrace in the backyard, great for enjoying some fresh air. The fully equipped kitchen, included a microwave, oven, and dishwasher etc. The living room featured a new TV with Netflix, ideal for unwinding. The ground-floor location offered step-free access, which was very convenient. Martin was an outstanding and communicative host, accommodating a late check-out due to a flight change and stocking the fridge with both regular and non-alcoholic beverages. Overall, this is a comfortable retreat with a lovely outdoor space. Dank je wel, Martin (& Eva)!

10+ years on AirBnB and this is hands down our favorite experience. Five stars is not enough! The house was immaculately clean, with comfortable and modern design. It felt like a luxury hotel - but with character. Our hosts anticipated our needs and left out everything we could want. The neighborhood is quiet but convenient for tourists - walkable to De Pijp, and right by a tram stop. We cooked meals in the evenings, the kitchen is fantastic, and enjoyed lots of time on the patio. It was ideal for our family of four (3 & 14 year olds). Thank you, Jan and family, for sharing your home with us!

Brian was great from beginning to end. We got instructions for finding the keys in a lock box, got into the apartment and immediately felt at home. Clean, light, airy and comfortable. Brian gave us local restaurant recommendations that were perfect. And quickly responded when I couldn't figure out the washing machine. It was seamless from beginning to end. The location is perfect for long canal walks, exploring a fun area of the city and close to bus and tram lines to get you whereever you want to go. Highly recommend!

Really nice area, was easy to get to and Erwin was really nice and helpful.

We had a wonderful time as a family. The hosts provided LOTS of toys, crib, baby gate, changing pad, high chairs, kids furniture, more than we have had anywhere else we have ever stayed! It was truly a home away from home and we loved getting to visit this slice of Amsterdam. The location was also incredible, right on a canal, with tram lines, grocery stores, coffee shops, playgrounds, restaurants, markets, and more all in walking distance.
