Het strand van een prachtige meer ligt nog geen 2.5 kilometer. Daar kun je lekker hapje eten, wandelen of een boot huren. Het stadscentrum van Amsterdam ligt op 25 min. met de auto en met de trein. Het stads centrum van Almere ligt op 7 min. rijden met de auto en de bushalte is op 5 min. lopen. Er zijn op loop af stand supermarkt en eet gelegenheden.
