Randi is an amazing host. We didn’t actually meet, but felt she was extremely hospitable from multiple text exchanges. Her home is so classic Norwegian. It is, as she said, the home she grew up in. She and her husband built a home nearby on the acreage. The home is very spacious and would easily serve the needs of several family members (We were two!) Note that the setting is a few miles from the small village of Hellesylt, the launch point for the ferry to Geiranger. In that sense it is perfect, but you will need to have a vehicle. We ended up taking two trips to Geiranger. The setting for her home is utterly spectacular, one of the most beautiful sites we’ve ever stayed. Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay and a beautiful place in a lovely setting. In the house you have everything you need and it is very cozy. Hosting incredibly welcoming and pleasant. Will be back soon!

Nicer, bigger and warmer house than we thought so it was a positive surprise. Lots of rooms provided lots of possibilities. Well equipped, nice view and quick responses from the host. We had a great stay!

This lovely place was our home for almost a month. The location is central and the house very cozy. The mountains are your backyard and the sea right in front of you. We made several trips to the surrounding area, including freeskiing in the mountains, surfing in Hoddevik, Runde puffin island, city visit to Ålesund and hikes in the area. There are several rental saunas in the area, the nearest one is 5 minutes away. The house is well equipped. The hosts Anne-Mari and Terje are very helpful. Sometimes there was bass from the road from the youth's cars, but it didn't bother us too much. Would love to go back again!

We stayed for 5 nights in this property and felt so at home and comfortable. The furnishings are lovely and the history of the house really interesting- it used to be bank and sheriffs office! Anne is a very responsive host and was happy to let us use her kayaks and visit her summer cabin. There are shops within walking distance and many lovely places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend this house. We were sad to leave.

Very quiet and cozy area. the cute bunnies outside the window gave an extra little charm. Everything was as it was described, and we weren't missing anything. Tip top.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this lovely suite in Saebo! Gorgeous view overlooking the fjord. A tranquil spot & close to the docks, grocery store, ferry terminal to access hikes. The kitchen & bathroom are well equiped & the beds so comfy (just bring along a hair dryer if you use one). We hope we can return to visit Saebo again & would absolutely stay here again!! :)

My stay was 6 weeks and I look back on it positively. It is a place where you can really relax. The place is very comfortable and had everything I needed. The nature and hiking opportunities nearby are fantastic. Solgunn is a very good hostess. Very considerate and very helpful. She gave very good tips and invited me to walks and activities. I can recommend this place to anyone!

We enjoyed our overnight stay in this cosy and comfortable accomodation. The setting was just magnificent and a joy to wake up to. A peaceful place in a lovely valley. Would recommend you stay if yoy are in the region.

We had a wonderful stay at Elise's place. The apartment is very comfortable and very well equipped. The frontline location on the fjord is amazing! We really enjoyed the little touches for Easter when we arrived!! We felt great and would have stayed longer, thank you Elise!

We had a great stay! It was very peaceful and a short drive into Stryn. Beautiful views from the place and very comfortable for us and our dog. Kitchen had all the basics so we were able to make a few meals at the Air BnB. Ran into some issues with the oven/stove but Bjørnar was quick to respond and help us work through it. We would definitely stay here again.

A very nice and newly furnished apartment in a good location. Walking distance to the city center, but at the same time well shielded from traffic noise. The apartment is very well equipped for stays over several days, and is a good starting point for experiences both in Volda, and in the surrounding area. Walking distance also to great hiking areas, and I would also recommend a trip along the panoramic road that provides great views of Volda.

Great location in a quiet, touristy even less developed environment! A paradise for anglers, fishing boat available, fish too! It was a great, relaxing week of sunshine and rain! Hiking in the region was also possible! Ståle is a great host! We'll be back! :-)

We had a wonderful stay. We had a hiccup at the start, which was my fault. The email with the instructions was in my SPAM, so I didn't see it. I called Vidar, and he responded immediately and was very helpful. The views are incredible and Saebo provides great access to a lot of beautiful locales. Highly recommended.
