Go on a mountain hike right from the door to Keipen or other mountain hikes in the Sunnmørsalpen. Enjoy a short distance to popular hiking destinations such as Loen, Geiranger, Briksdalen and Ålesund. The cabin is only 10 minutes from Folkestad-ferga.

This cozy little log cabin Granly has all the amenities and is secluded in rural surroundings on Sunnmøre. You can sit in the built-in jacuzzi all year round and enjoy the beautiful mountain view. From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2 hours), Loen with Skylift (1.5 hours), the bird island Runde, Øye (1 hour) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5 hours). Mountain hikes on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin at the edge of the sea

Urke is a small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post and pharmacy, horticulture and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.

Quiet area with great view to Ørstafjella, and access to the yard with hens, sheep, calves and horse at the free disposal of guests. We also have a boat for rent in Ørstafjorden. Great hiking area just behind the cottage, with an old paved road set up by around 1,000 rather large people in the 19th century. We are also in the middle of attractions like Geiranger, Loen and Olden, and Runde with the bird mountain. Fosnavågen has Sunnmørsbadet water park 45 minutes away if the day is gray...

The cabin has a living room with a dining area, a small kitchen equipped with a stove top, an oven, and a small refrigerator. There are two bedrooms with room for four. The living room has a sofa bed that can accommodate two people. The cabin also has a fully equipped bathroom. Parking is 200m from the cabin.

The cabin is simple and has four beds, as well as living room and kitchen in one with single standard. Here is a balcony and a garage where there is both a grill and sun loungers you can use. Otherwise, electric heating is here, but also a wood room and by you can use.
