The cabin was built by Tinde Hytter and completed in the autumn of 2021. The cabin has 4 bedrooms and a total of 11 beds. Large dining table, living room and a good corner you can relax in Danish designer chairs☺️ The cabin has 2 bathrooms with toilet and shower, as well as a separate laundry room. The cabin and furniture are of a high standard and nothing has been spared☺️

Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

The apartment is nicely located by the water, with tables, benches and fire pan, so here everything is set for barbecue or just cosy in one quiet, calm and nice place. From Hellesylt can you take the ferry to the famous fjord: Geirangerfjord a world heritage site.A great place to stay if you like to haik (or skiing) in the mountains.
