The chalet is located in our small bucolic garden inspired by many trips... it is 800 m from the city center in the back of our house . Surrounded by a half floral garden half vegetable garden , it is close to another gite and a yurt during the summer period. However, each has its own outdoor space out of sight. It remains a relaxing , serene, and unpretentious place. We offer the essentials with ease.

Lovely Country House with Pool

We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

We had a fantastic time in Jessie and Jerome's beautiful home. Great place to enjoy with friends with kids. Everything is there to make it a magical place :)!!! The bedrooms are large and the common areas are very spacious. Our kids loved the trampoline, pool and game room;). The decoration has been done very tastefully. Lots of activities nearby and Center Parc just 40 minutes away. We'll be back for our next get-together;). Thank you for everything and your kindness. See you soon. Virginie.

Last-minute booking (at midnight the day before arrival!) and Marilys did her best under the circumstances so that the accommodation could accommodate us. The few shortcomings (blind in one room, key problem in another) were perfectly acceptable given the very very short time she had to prepare the accommodation! And everything else was perfect, we slept well and were able to cook a little. We were delighted to have a quiet little cocoon to meet while the family circumstances that brought us to Marmande were not very pleasant. This is an address we keep. Thanks

The house is beautiful with a very large wooded plot. Perfect for being in peace and quiet and disconnecting a little. The house is also great for children with lots of toys and equipment. Recommended!

Beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated. It is spacious and the rooms are large. Although we did not find written instructions for the use of the equipment, it was relatively easy to use. The pool table was also a plus that delighted the family.
