Beachfront vacation rentals in Viareggio

Oh my word, Lola was the BEST host we've ever had. My husband and I visited this Airbnb for our honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with the area and the place where we stayed. I've never seen views like I have from this Airbnb. I HIGHLY recommend staying here for 1) the views, 2) the walkable, most romantic, stunning neighborhood, and 3) the friendly and helpful host. Lola answered every question we had and even personally showed up to help us get to our location (my husband and I are American and had never been to this area, so we got stranded in a city one day. Lola offered to personally help us get to where we need to go and recommended her favorite restaurants in the area. We totally became friends on this trip!) Overall, a trip I'll never forget, at an Airbnb that will forever hold a special place in my heart. Truly, the most beautiful place I've ever seen. It looks exactly like the pictures.

The accommodation is very nice, clean, and overlooks the sea. It is located right in the center of Portovenere, which makes it exceptional for visiting, by ferry, the Cinque Terre and the surrounding islands. Friendly and friendly host. Recommended accommodation, I would gladly return! 😊

We stayed in the apartment while attending an Italian language class. Great location for school and beach. Very comfortable bed. Great to have a washing machine. Good kitchen. Nice balcony to sit and have a drink. Great shower but be aware it’s small in size. Not a problem for us. Great space for us over the 2 weeks.

We were at the house shortly before the agreed time, right on the wide promenade and were able to park the car in the blue zone. Daniela arrived on time and kindly helped us carry the luggage into the apartment. The apartment is cozy and conveniently furnished, the kitchen well equipped with induction stove and large fridge, Prosecco and fruit bowl included! The view from the roof terrace is really great, but you're happy to accept the climb through the "slim" staircase. After handing over the keys, Daniele drove me to the underground parking garage around the corner, where I was able to park the car in a separate box. We did not accept Daniel's kind invitation to his family's beach in Marina di Petrosanto due to the weather. We got to know Daniee as a very caring host and enjoyed our stay very much. The departure with key handover also worked out great.

Gaia's house is charming. It is lovingly furnished, as shown in the pictures. The location is very good: you are 2 minutes from the beach and can visit many cities nearby. (Pisa 30 min, Florence 90 min) Gaia always responded quickly and greeted us with treats. We were able to check out flexibly. You can hear the noise of the main road very much. Unfortunately, we could not use the outdoor area because there were too many mosquitoes.

Excellent hosting, always responsive. We enjoyed the accommodation with the view of the Apuan Alps mountain. Quiet and close to amenities and the sea. Train station too, but you need a car. We were on a weekend for the 5 lands: beautiful!

We had an amazing stay at Graziano’s apartment. It was spacious, full of light and very clean. We were received by his son Paolo who was very courteous and polite. we would definitely come back to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone..

Lovely clean apartment, walking distance to free beach. Air conditioning and private parking is a big plus. Daniela was very quick to respond to questions. We had a very nice time overall.

Rebecca was very kind and super helpful. The accommodation is in a great location because it's on the beautiful seafront of Viareggio, which is a charming town. Very comfortable and clean inside. Fully equipped kitchen. We came in the spring and imagine that in the summer season the Primavera resort is even more charming!Very happy with our stay!We'll be back and we highly recommend it!

Christine really made sure we felt at home, knew where everything was, how to catch the right buses, knew the local best places to visit, gave us ideas of what to do. She was amazing and her place is safe for my wife and two younger daughters. We loved every minute of our stay at Christine’s place. I’m sure you will too if you decide to visit it too.

This is an amazing place- great location right next to a beautiful sandy beach, with own shaded space reserved. The pool was also lovely and facilities great. Pietro was always on hand to help us and answer any enquiries. He kindly booked us taxis and was always very friendly.

The place was perfect for us! The children made themselves comfortable in the gallery and also enjoyed using the toys provided. Since the ceilings of the apartment are very high, it is also not cramped at all. We enjoyed the location of the accommodation directly on the beach. By car you can easily get to Pisa, Florence, etc. We will be back :-)

Fantastic house . During our stay we have really felt like we are at home. Close to the city center. Very peacefull environment. Large rooms. Nice furniture and modern design. On top of all great house owner. Always ready to communicate and ready to help if needed. I strongly recommend Eva as owner and her house to stay. Looking forward to stay again.

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation for 10 days in a nice B&B. The accommodation is sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. The location of the accommodation is very central. You are in a few minutes at the boulevard and also the beach is not far away. We ended up renting bicycles so we could see a lot of Viareggio, but also the nearby towns. From Viareggio, you can reach Pisa or Lucca in 20 minutes by train. Perfect! The hosts were very friendly and were actually always available. We have received many tips about good restaurants to eat or where, for example, we can best rent the bikes. All in all, a great stay. Highly recommended!

Portovenere is such a unique place for Americans and we were fortunate to grab Michela's place. It has a nice perch view of the water, all the way out into the bay which is just so beautiful. It is great to grab breakfast from the market which is MAYBE 2 minutes walk down the hill, have some coffee/tea and just sit and stare at the water (we went in June, with family). The apartment comfortably sleeps four, with some separation in the place which is nice to rest or at the end of the day to sleep. You'll want to pace your showers a bit for hot water purposes, but didn't impact us at all. It's so close to restaurants. A huge strip of restaurants, the marina for ferries/boat rides (STRONGLY ENCOURAGE DOING A BOAT TOUR. Google Rosso alle rosse and get Andrea.. There also is a great castle near the restaurants for great pictures. Make sure to see the sunset by the castle. Definitely a great place, great location and fit our needs well!

Lovely apartment in the perfect location. Nice contact with Alessio. You can park in the surrounding streets, the daily price is very high, but you can also buy a weekly ticket for 25 euros in a tobacco shop. We had a great time.

Great location, and the apartment has a charming retro vibe with plenty of original 80s furniture. It’s a great value for the price!

Monica was really flexible about checkin and met us when we arrived to show us around the property. The apartment was private and tucked away from the street so it was really quiet. The main bed was really comfortable and there were extra pillows which is always nice. The tv is a smart tv which was really great! Would definitely recommend.

We had great week at Gabriele's place. the apartment is compact but has everything we needed: a well equipped kitchen with good quality and clean utensils, a spacious shower, a wide bed, lots of storage space, and great big windows that let in daylight and a nice breeze. Gabriele was kind to also offer a high chair and a cot for our baby. The building is in a fantastic location, walking distance between the park and the beach, with plenty of supermarkets, cafés and restaurants around. It also has an elevator which was handy with our luggage and stroller! The flat was clean and Gabriele was a responsive host. It was a very pleasant stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
