Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Velsen-Zuid

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Very comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation, very well located in relation to Almere Poort station with quick and easy access to Amsterdam. Good for resting after a busy day in Amsterdam. I recommend it.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We had a lovely family vacation in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam were also on the program. Highly recommended. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Nicolette is very kind and is a wonderful and attentive host!!!!

We enjoyed the stay 100%! Serge is the perfect host, accommodating, but always reserved, polite, friendly, helpful - we were just fulfilled every wish and nothing was missing in this luxurious, absolutely thoughtful place. High-quality appliances in the top equipped kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, baking paper, aluminum& plastic wrap, etc.), cozy sofa & toilet, nice bathroom, it was nice and warm (in cool April). We were able to wash our laundry and also let it dry in the dryer. In front of the windows were screens, good blackout curtains in the bedroom and nice screen during the day. You can park right in front of the property in a large parking lot, the car is always in view from the living room & kitchen. We will be back! Very nice 4 days stay. The apartment is close to the cities of Delft,Rotterdam,Gouda and The Hague. Everything can be visited by public transport. The grocery store is steps away. We were able to take advantage of the outdoor spaces to rest, read and eat. Sylvia is a welcoming and available host.

Gorgeous! To see out the window stretching green, domestic and wild animals, from a welcoming house...it's incredible. Everything close to what matters, Amsterdam, The Hague, tulip fields, Keukenhof. Thank you!

The apartment is small but nice has everything you need. Thildy and her husband are super friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast the first day and it was delicious and sumptuous. Especially our little one was thrilled with all the great toys, the trampoline and the hammocks in the garden. The surrounding area is great for bike rides or trips to the beach and dunes. Washing machine and towels cost extra, which we are not used to from AirBnB. But all toys are free and Thyldi helped us on a private issue, which was very kind. We had a really nice and relaxing time there!

Lovely clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation within easy reach of bus stop and supermarket and cash machine (15 min). Mark responded very quickly and in a friendly manner to any queries.

Great place, very close to the city, museums etc yet very private and in deep nature . We really enjoyed our time and would recommend the place for everyone seeking privacy, calmness, nature and a bit of adventure.

We stayed at Advas house with our dog for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The host was leaving some treats for us and even for Lumi (our dog) and also suggested nice restaurants and possible walks with gpx files in the area. The place was just as presented on Air BnB, really clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to really enjoy the garden but I’m sure it would be great to enjoy a nice little fire outside :) would be nice to come back in summertime!

Great place to unplug. Not far from Amsterdam, kitchen yard, beach. The host is very nice. You feel comfortable there.

Wonderfully quiet and cozy cottage. Wonderful, unobstructed views. cozy and spacious. you will be personally welcomed and given tips. If you like peace and nature, this is highly recommended. 10 minutes from the sea, dunes and villages.

had a great weekend

We had a lovely stay at Marjolein and Anton's. The accommodation is very cute and well equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful private terrace (shaded by a large wisteria). The hosts are very nice and welcoming! The pretty village of Warmond is close to tulip fields and cities such as Amsterdam and The Hague. We recommend it!:)

We had a great stay with Nico and Danielle. They are very nice hosts who are quick to respond to any queries. Even a smart TV was arranged at our request. The cottage has all the comforts and is very tastefully decorated. Great bathroom and bed. The cottage is in their backyard, but you hardly notice that because it is completely enclosed from the main house. The area is worthwhile with Hoorn and Enkhuizen. In short: had a great week!

For nature lovers, the house is ideally located in the middle of the canals. Everything is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely house, clean and well equipped. An address to remember and advise.
