Daniel is an absolutely amazing host: friendly, attentive, helpful and very quick to reply to questions. The house is even better than the pictures, a fantastic place to stay for both kids and grown ups. We were here with a group of parents with teenagers and we all had the most magical time. Rafael was super accommodating and good on communication. This house is simple but the location is amazing in this warm valley of avocado farms and good views. Nice walks around. A good deck for sunshine and being together.

Lovely traditional house in a fantastic location. Great outside areas with beautiful views. Kitchen had everything one could need. Everything was very clean and there were plentiful supplies of towels and comfortable beds. Perfect!

We had a very nice, peaceful stay and I would recommend the place to anyone. Just be aware that the satnav gets confused and the name of the property isn’t shown, making it tricky to find initially. We’ll definitely come back!

The apartment was very beautiful, nice and clean. This is the best place we’ve stayed in. The jacuzzi was nice, very fresh and warm and everything in the apartment was tip top! Olga was nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

It's very nice villa with all the amenities that the family needs. There were even spices and other things left in the kitchen. Very handy. The drive is up the hill and I would not recommend to walk there, especially with children. There is a lot of space in the house and the outdoor area is amazing. The jacuzzi is a plus as the swimming pool was too cold to use in April. Almuñécar is not very busy yet as it's not holiday time in Spain, again it's a plus.I would highly recommend El Caminito del Rey and the cave in Nerja if you like outdoor adventures with your family

I was there with my two Kids (3 & 15) and both liked it very much! Especially the pool:) Even it was not so warm… My Favorit was the amazing view you have in the Mountains and the silence! Wonderful stay in the Grey House. the hosts couldn't do enough for us and the location was perfect for eating drinking and excursions. pool was a nice place to cool off and prepare for the day. if you are considering renting you will not be disappointed! we will be back

Wow, if you are looking for a peaceful place to relax, look no further. Jaime is the perfect host - always responsive, very helpful with local recommendations for hiking and sightseeing, very patient in explaining local roads and the best things to see and do in the area. The apartment was beautiful and so cozy. You can have as much wood as you want to make a lovely fire. And if you have a chance, do not hesitate to book a massage with Jaime. So relaxing. A little piece of paradise to enjoy in Las Alpujarras!

If you're heading to Málaga, this is the place to stay! Beautiful, cozy, and private, with an incredible view. It was super comfortable, spotless, and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. But the real highlight? Jose, the host. If I could rate him beyond 5 stars, I’d give him 10! He was beyond amazing, super kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Málaga. Thank you, Jose, for an unforgettable experience!

Well designed Airbnb, very thoughtful and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the beach and to the old town. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is great. He has made a very nice place!

We were very happy to have chosen this accommodation in "the lost village". A very quiet (only rooster, dogs and donkey can be heard) and pleasant beautiful surroundings only 6 km to Frigiliana. The restaurant " Bar el Acebuchal " is fantastic, great recommendation to eat there, attention kitchen closes at 4pm and the restaurant at 6pm and reservation necessary for high operation. The property offers a fantastic pool and plenty of space on the terrace like in the house. You have to know that there is a long staircase from the parking to the property. Great appartment, close to the beach and with an amazing view from both terraces/balconies.

I don’t even know where to start- this place was so great! Situated off a main road but still easy to find, the house offers ample space for, well, everything. There are at least 4 areas to sit outside, as well as a private pool with a while bar attached to it, but indoors it’s just as comfortable. Heating worked well, bathrooms spacious and clean, kitchen well-equipped and inviting to use. Indeed the nearest bigger supermarket is not close at all, so come prepared, but Tim and Kate also provided several kitchen staples plus some extra groceries that took the stress off. The area is gorgeous, and there are several restaurants nearby if you choose not to use the facilities (that do also include a barbecue!). Plenty of entertainment around, games, movies, and just generally a great vibe. This is clearly a well-loved home, so glad we picked it. The hosts responded super quick and even offered a late checkout as it was possible, thanks Tim & Kate!! Hope to be back someday.

Pernilla was a great host and always responded so quickly to any queries. The apartment was lovely and the village is just beautiful. So well maintained and peaceful. Just far enough away from town to be outside of the thick of it but an easy enough walk down.

Everything was great. It is a wonderful and quiet place. The place is very clean and the host is very correct. I will definitely do it again.

The house was wonderful, it had everything we needed and more. Great for lazy days around the house relaxing in the seating areas but also great to explore the nearby areas. The children loved picking the oranges from the trees and making fresh orange juice for breakfast.

What a beautiful villa! The views are outstanding, the kitchen/living space and outdoor areas are lovely and very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group. The bathrooms and some of the bedrooms were quite dark, but we appreciate that is the design of a house built into the hillside. La Herradura is walking distance with good bars and restaurants, although as others have said it is quite a steep climb back up to the villa, but there is plenty of parking if driving. Great roads and easy access from Malaga, and easy to get into Almuñécar for larger supermarkets, buses etc. We recommend a day trip to Granada as it is only an hour away, and beautiful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Rachel was very responsive and helpful when we were there. A minor issue with the cooker was resolved promptly. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Absolutely magical place! The house is beautifully decorated, full of art, and has everything you need. The area is quiet and peaceful – perfect for relaxing and escaping city life. The pool with a view of the mountains and Frigiliana is breathtaking. The house was spotless and very comfortable. The host was kind, helpful, and checked in to make sure everything was okay, especially during a power outage. One of the most unforgettable stays we’ve ever had.
