Located between Valdez and Thompson pass, this little "mini" offers everything you need to be comfortable on your stay. A short 13 mile drive from Valdez will have you nestled in the woods where you will enjoy peace and serenity. Newly renovated Studio-Style BnB offers a private bathroom, and a "mostly" full kitchen. (There is no range/oven, but there is a toaster, Air-Fryer, microwave, and hot-plate for all your cooking needs!) This unit is upstairs with about 12 steps to the top.

Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Historic Thompson House

Thompson House is historic, quirky, unique and comfortable. It survived the 1964 9.2 earthquake and tsunami that caused Old Valdez to relocate to the new and present town site. An addition more than doubled the size of the original one room cabin which included an extensive remodel.
