The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The bright, quiet 90 square meter apartment is very close to the center and at the same time in the countryside. 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each plus space for 2 sleeping places in the living area. Located on the edge of the "Schönbuch Nature Park". Ideal starting point for hikes and bike rides. Attractive destinations such as Tübingen, Bebenhausen, Herrenberg, Stuttgart... are easily accessible. Cooking, eating, living + terrace on the ground floor. The loft beds are accessible via a ladder and a filigree "net bridge" and require surefootedness. The pine wood on the walls gives the house a rustic cosiness and a pleasant scent. Built in 1904, the remise was not used for almost four decades and we decided to renovate it from scratch in 2020. The transformation into a spacious residential unit with two bedrooms, an open kitchen and a spacious bathroom in the middle of the village center of a rural community. In the middle of a beautiful hiking area or rather by bike? A lake in 5 minutes, Lake Constance is only 20 minutes or the Alps about 40 minutes - all within easy reach!

Former farm building of the forester's lodge, rebuilt in 2006, very quietly located in the middle of nature, wide view over the fields and meadows. The Adelindis thermal bath can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, and other thermal baths are within a radius of about 25 km. The summer house is not suitable for children under 4 years of age and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.

With 70 square meters, it offers plenty of space. In the living room you will find a couch and a flat-screen TV and access to the balcony. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub.

There is space to romp and play in the large orchard meadow.

Our house is idyllically located directly on the lake with a fantastic view of Switzerland on the Säntis and the Zeppelin city of "Friedrichshafen." For 8 years we have been successful and happy hosts, were allowed to welcome a lot of great people to us, who would also like to book our whole house.
