Chalet vacation rentals in Upper Normandy

Isabelle is a lovely host, very friendly & welcoming and her place is great value for money. We stayed here with our dogs who loved the well fenced yard. No fireworks at New Year which was very important to us. Beautiful forest (forêt de Crécy) nearby to go for long walks, but in winter be sure to check the hunting calendar before going! The kitchen has all necessary equipment & utensils, and the shower room is spacious. The bed unfortunately was too small and too hard for us, but that’s a personal preference! Electric heaters throughout the cabin worked well and got warm quickly. Good water pressure in the shower and no shortage of warm water. Great Wifi. Car can be parked within the gates which makes unloading luggage much easier when you have dogs and/or kids running around. There are neighbors on the front & sides but the back looks out on a nice field, it felt private, calm & very quiet. All in all a lovely Airbnb!

Very nice short stay with family . Very welcoming, smiling and friendly host. Proposed hot tub, pool and jeep tower to take a ride through the forest. Charming little house isolated from the eyes of others but not far from the hosts in case of problems which is very good . Opportunity to walk and meet the goats and horses which made our 3-year-old daughter happy. Possibility to shop not too far away and next to some nice places to do. Beauvais Cathedral/Saint Paul Park… We recommend this small place of charm and calm . We wish Philippe and his family well and lots of beautiful things .

The Chalet is very nice, the location is very quiet. We even enjoyed the terrace during this period. Maybe a detail for some but for us it was much appreciated: the pots and pans were clean and not used as you can have in many rentals! No need to rewash all the dishes! Thank you for hosting us and for the comfort of the accommodation!

We had a pleasant stay… the setting is really beautiful. Hélène and her husband were really very responsive, attentive and very friendly . The instructions were very clear for access to the accommodation which is done by shuttle or boat made available by Helene's husband. We chose to take the caterer, the meals were hearty and the quantities were more than generous . We had a small incident at the accommodation …Hélène and her husband were really kind to us and immediately present to come to our help. I appreciate it so much ….

The place was the break I needed and imagined. Peaceful, secluded, with all the comforts you need to take a break. Eric's tips on places to visit were really the must, a real surprise to discover such beautiful landscapes. Very present, responsive and attentive, Eric was the perfect host. I cannot say how much I recommend this stay to those who need to reconnect before leaving. Raven & I will be back!

I had a good stay, small, really nice, clean and well-equipped cottage. Very friendly hosts. I would recommend.

Very pleasant stay, nice little chalet that can accommodate up to 7 people. Stuart is very welcoming and responsive by totally trusting you... Only small concern we were not able to enjoy the hot tub on the terrace because it was not hot enough following a power outage due to a flood. Stuart put it back on before we arrived but unfortunately it takes a very long time to rise in temperature. However, having no tenant the next day, Stuart allowed us to leave in the afternoon rather than at 10am as planned.

If you want to visit the area… don't come 😅 here once you're there you won't move!!! You feel so good there, it's so beautiful, calm, natural, peaceful and beautiful! I know, I already said that! Ha ha The only regret we had… was only staying 2 days! The house is not big but offers everything you need for comfort and relaxation. Not to mention the Nordic bath which is just exceptional!!! 1000x better than a hot tub!! We spent our stay in the company of wild geese, moorhens, birdsong... In short, we wanted to recharge our batteries outside of our daily lives and we lived 2 timeless days. What happiness ♥️

All the conditions for a great stay were met. Richard welcomed us warmly and gave us the necessary instructions for our arrival and departure. The little touches in the fridge were a real plus. If you want to spend a stay with your partner or friends, go without a second thought! I would highly recommend it!

We spent 4 days in the chalet and felt very comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring the alabaster coast. We did hikes and bike rides. Fecamp and Etretat are quickly accessible and very worth seeing. In a few minutes you will be on the beach. There is everything you need for a few relaxing vacation days in the house. Outside you can enjoy the sun until the evening, the pool table we found a little too big for the terrace.

Excellent! Delighted with this change of scenery with our daughters, it feels good even for a single night. It was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. It's basic for some people but enough for a few days. Too bad we didn't have time to use the spa but it's only a postponement! i highly recommend these hosts!

Beautiful cottage with lots of charm. The living rooms are very nice, the bedrooms very comfortable (very good bedding). The chalet is really well equipped (kitchen , equipment, linen, baby child equipment, etc.) . The ping pong table served us well too! And the garden is really very pretty! (we were in winter, we imagine it was superb in the beautiful season!) We received the instructions for the listing very quickly and in detail. Fabienne and Christophe were really accommodating for check-in and check-out times which allowed us to enjoy our weekend. And following a technical incident, Christophe was very responsive in helping us "by the minute"! Thank you! We recommend!

Very nice cottage, well organized, very well decorated and equipped, a lot of attention to the Christmas atmosphere, good quiet location and close to the sea. Some doors rub a little on the floor, they should be planed, and as for garbage cans, we didn't see any container outside.

We had a pleasant stay in this comfortable house. You quickly feel very good there. The beach a stone's throw away is an asset. The location is ideal for visiting the main landing sites. Augustin is a responsive host and attentive to our needs.

Very nice accommodation, especially for its atypical and "cozy" side, but large enough for two people, and quiet. The breakfast prepared by Laurent and Isabelle was excellent and very pleasant. Finally, the location of the accommodation seemed ideal to us: both not too far from the Somme Valley, while being far enough from the very touristy areas.

Ideal location in the center, close to the sea, bars and restaurants. Perfect for a couple.

What we will remember about this house is THE VIEW, we were won over by the environment. The best part is that there are towels available for everyone and that there was no extra charge for blankets and sheets which is much appreciated. The fact that there is a bedroom (even 2) on the ground floor is also very convenient when there is a couple with a baby (as would have been our case) to avoid waking up the whole household when the baby cries, and having direct access to the kitchen was perfect. The kitchen is also very functional with plenty of utensils and dishes available. The only catch would be the outdoor garland that lights up the terrace and the staircase that didn't work, which is inconvenient for those who arrived at night.
