Chalet vacation rentals in France

We stayed with 4 adults and 5 children. The convertible couch was quite comfortable to sleep on. The heating worked surprisingly well. The two kitchens complement each other perfectly. The bathrooms are clean and the shower looks new. The kids loved the table soccer and to explore the creek. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect place to stay for two families with kids who enjoy nature and hiking. Shops and a very delicious bakery are near.

Vincent’s chalet is very special - it’s located close to the main house, but very private. There are great hiking trails right in the back yard. The view of the Alps from the backyard is more than enough to enjoy every morning and evening. Architecturally, the chalet is noteworthy - the renovation was executed flawlessly, keeping many original details. At night, you can hear the babbling stream in the backyard. It’s removed, but only 15 mins from Chamonix. We were thrilled with our stay and would love to return sometime.

We had a great time at Bénédicte and Fabrice's. The place matches the photos in every way, impeccable cleanliness and super charming. The place is peaceful and the view of the mountains is ideal! Our hosts were very hospitable and available to give us tips for child-friendly visits. Our children particularly enjoyed the trampoline outside and the games available in the cottage. We totally recommend this place for family vacations surrounded by nature!

A fantastic cottage, neatly and tastefully appointed. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. Jean-Luc was very kind, available and flexible. This is a beautiful rental, very well located to enjoy all the surrounding activities.

Beautiful peaceful home. We visited with our toddler who loved being able to set off on an adventure from the front door. Super clean and thoughtful decorations which were stylist but minimalist to add to the relaxing vibe of the house. And toddler safe! Hot tube and sauna in amazing condition. Great additions with snow shoes & sledges. Fondue and Raclette Set. Host was quick to answer our emails before we arrived and amazing check in experience! On another day we walked back to the car and it was completely manageable with a toddler.

Very nice, warm and pleasant chalet. Welcoming and well-equipped, this place is perfect for a family of 4. Well open with a large bay window, we watched the sunrises. The availability of Bernard, our host, and Yohan, on site, allowed us to be serene and fully enjoy the stay there. Thanks again.

Jon’s place was beautiful — great views and all of us were very comfortable. The sweet town of Argentière was very walkable, which was super nice as well. I believe it may actually be a ski in/ski out if there was more snow snow once you get to the trails, but we found ourselves walking about 20 minutes to the closest lift. We didn’t get the catered package, which is what they prefer and encourage. We did have a bespoke meal from one of their chefs which was absolutely delicious and would recommend. I loved waking up with I our amazing view of Grand Montet and felt like the chalet was a very special find. Many thanks Jon and team!

Just got back from great trip to Chamonix. Steven's place was perfect, lots of room for us all. The hot tub was a great addition for relaxing after long days in the mountains. Iwona, the host is a superstar and was able to answer questions throughout our stay. House is a 30 mins walk to town or very short ride, we caught the train in and walked home one night was was very doable. thanks for a great stay

Awesome weekend family stay at Chalet Gilbert! Great communication, roaring fireplace and relaxing sauna made our trip. We enjoyed dining at La Petite Auberge, and rentals from Caribou worked great. Skiing at Portes du Soleil was also fantastic. We'll be back!

Great location and large apartment right near the bus stop and walking distance to the slopes. We would rent it again

Sandra is a fantastic host. We had to delay the departure and Sandra was always attentive and offered solutions. The apartment is beautiful and with a breathtaking view. We will definitely be back!

Very nice stay and magnificent view. The accommodation is clean, neat and well-equipped. Just a little disappointed that we couldn't enjoy an outdoor table on this beautiful sunny early spring weekend.

lovely stay at this cottage facing Lake Payolle, under a beautiful sun that allowed us to enjoy the terrace! The cottage was very clean and in a good location close to hiking trails.

Immersion in the heart of nature. Ideal for relaxing or getting together with family. We leave the car once we arrive. Cleaning to be provided at the end of the stay.

Like last year, our stay was very pleasant. Still a perfect place to take a break and relax through the peace and nature. Kahena was very helpful and always quick to respond. Highly recommend!
