If you are looking for something different this is the place to stay! The gite is large and very well equipped ; the bed comfortable The terasse ( with table and chairs)looking over the Loire and surrounding is a real bonus ... Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs to access the gite....the experience is worth it!

Great place by the water, very unique experience. Easy 5 minute walk to center of town. Bridgette was very pleasant and accommodating.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, almost too short! Well received, we had the good surprise of having access to a larger than expected accommodation, with all the comforts you wanted. The place is peaceful and we were able to enjoy the exteriors during the evening. The plus is of course access to the SPA with a very nice outdoor pool! Thank you for hosting us, and I hope to see you soon!

What a special and beautiful location. A spacious cave house with all the amenities. On the terrace, there is a great view that you can enjoy in peace. An absolute recommendation.

Quiet stay in. a cute town with amazing views. Fabienne is a very experienced host and we loved every minute.

We had a wonderful stay in Damien's home. It is in a beautiful setting and a short walk into the town but very peaceful. The house is very comfortable with everything you need. This unique cliff house is full of character and has artistic detail in every room. Damien gave us great recommendations for restaurants, vineyards and local walks. Cotignac has a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. There are also some good walks of varying difficulty from there and it is also a good base for exploring the area.

Unusual accommodation, very clean and beautiful in a peaceful location. We had a great time, total disconnection over the weekend. It is well located a few minutes' walk from the abbey. About 10 minutes from Montsoreau by car. Walk, quiet, really great for having fun in an atypical accommodation in the region. Fabienne and her husband thought of everything. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped and the jacuzzi and dry sauna made our stay extra luxurious. The apartment was always very cool in spite of the summer heat outside. The stone cave walls of the grotto are beautiful. There is ample outdoor space to barbecue and eat dinner on the patio. The appliances work well. There was abundant hot water for baths and showers. Amenities such as some bottles of water, a bottle of wine, towels, dish and laundry soap and coffee were provided. We had a nice stay in this original and fun apartment, located just a few minutes away from the castle of Chateaudun.

Very well located accommodation, the terrace gives a magnificent view (which however is accessible from the roof). The apartment is very well equipped and decorated, an address to recommend!

An absolutely charming place with a dreamy setting and extremely neat decor.

Pauline was a great host. Welcomed us in person and showed us around the house. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped. We enjoyed playing table tennis and boules. We took cycle rides to the nearby villages and went wine tasting at local vineyards. We walked round the nearby lake where you could also go kayaking or paddle boarding. The beautiful town of Eymet was only a short walk away. And when the sun came out we lay by the pool

we passed!a few quiet days in a beautiful troglo! experience outside the time to live , total connection. great contact with solange who told the story of his troglo and the village; his way of us telling is captivating and it was very interesting! i highly recommend it.

The house matches the description. Mr. Pidoux was a most welcoming, communicating, present host, he gave us very good advice and was able to welcome us warmly ( bottle, dry sausage and other nice touches ). The house is calm, the view is breathtaking. A slice break away from the crazy and noisy world of our companies! A slice of heaven that we highly recommend!!!

What a surprising place to stay! A great terrace with an amazingly beautiful view, a wonderfully cool and special house. We have enjoyed the place and the nice original 'flea market decor '. The flea market on Sunday in Carpentras is highly recommended! Séguret is also worth a visit, and there are countless other nice villages nearby! Avignon is only a half hour drive. The walk to the church (St. Hilaire) across the mountain (you can see it from the terrace) is beautiful and also good to do! In short, highly recommended!!

For all those who are looking for a special lovingly furnished "cave accommodation" in nature where nothing is missing during the stay, a clear recommendation! We were there for 3 days and did many activities (castle visits, canoe trips, wine tastings,...) and the children were very enthusiastic about living in a grotto. Thank you to Carole & David for letting us use your "nest."

We had a great (but too short) stay at Christelle and Cédric's. The house is perfectly as described, very clean and well-equipped. Christelle and Cédric are very welcoming — we had the pleasure of being received in person — and particularly responsive to answering questions. The place is extremely quiet, ideal for relaxation. It is also a perfect stop for the Loire by bike: a shed allows you to park bikes safely, with even the possibility of recharging electric bikes. Even though we only spent one night there, everything is planned for a longer stay. We highly recommend it.

Kind and available hosts. Beautifully decorated volumes. A perfectly equipped kitchen and a beautiful shower room resembling the Romans terms and a cherry on the cake: a beautiful and real wine cellar whose access is most original ...We had a great time there!!

Finding a place both close to the sea and in a truly authentic charm place is close to impossible, this was quite lucky forvus given we booked it last minute but litterary only to slup in a warm jaccuzi and enjoy our stay, big thanks from tge heart to Lara!

Karine is a very attentive host. I had never woken up in a rental with hot croissants waiting for us. We had the flexibility to leave, as there were no other guests after us. We felt very good on this well furnished terrace. It was a perfect place for our romantic weekend and we warmly thank Karine.

Nathalie is a Superhost for good reason. The home was perfectly as described and the photos were very helpful to us in choosing this listing. The courtyard entry to the home was beautifully gardened and provided an immediate respite from the noise and bustle of the city. The home was clean, bright, cool, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a four night stay. Nathalie even left a welcome bottle of wine for us and some snacks to tide us over until we could purchase our own. My husband and I shared the double bed off the kitchen, our 16 year old took one of the two twin beds in the stone-arched basement, and our 19 year old slept in the single loft above the kitchen/living room. Arriving tired from our trip, we were able to nestle right in for a rejuvenating rest before striking out to explore Paris. The location was centrally located; cute stores, tons of cafes, and the Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame were all easy walks from the street gate. Thank you, Nathalie!!!
