Mansion vacation rentals in France

We absolutely loved our stay at Sophie and Daniel’s Cap de Rivière. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and immediately felt at home. We had a great pool, 6 bikes, table tennis, boule, billiards and darts to keep us fully occupied. The gardens were beautiful and the outdoor spaces perfect for enjoying the long hot days. The house was striking in its decor and very well equipped with everything we needed. Sophie and Daniel were the perfect hosts and we would love to return one day.

Lovely home and perfect for the four of us. Very close to town and very quiet. Easy access to wonderful restaurants. The check in was great and cannot thank them for also taking my niece to Station as we had to leave before her. Parking is not for feint hearted but good. If you cannot face the reverse then easy to park on road heading out towards station. Would stay again. Thanks

Oh what a wonderful place for a large group. Communication with host Michael was very good both by email and in person, his English was far better than our French. The accommodation was majestic and everywhere was clean. We were a group of 12 seniors, and although a rural location was central to all the D day celebrations with the furthest beaches only 25 miles away. Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.

The most amazing experience! This lovely chateau for the 7 of us travelling in 4 classic cars - true highlight! The bedrooms & en suite bathrooms are spacious comfortable clean. Kitchen well stocked & our groups cozy center point. Parking ample. Everything is roomy & lovely & simply a joy to behold. The true star is host Cue - from the moment of our initial enquire to our departure, she has been incredible! Helpful, professional, clear communications, proactive - full of great ideas & boundless energy to make us feel like chateau royalty. Without hesitation- 5 star recommendation on every aspect!

A haven of peace! A sublime building renovated and tastefully decorated and with stunning views of the countryside. Well-equipped, spacious, quiet rooms and bedding of the best comfort. The pool just downstairs is incredibly well-equipped: lots of seating, toilets, very well-equipped kitchen, efficient and pleasant lighting, coffee maker and even dishwasher! A real gem worthy of an architect's magazine! BRAVO and THANK YOU

We had a pleasant stay at Geraldine and Cyril's house. The house is spacious and very well-equipped. The 2 terraces allow you to enjoy the sun depending on the time. Finally, Géraldine and Cyril are very welcoming and proactive. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a very nice stay! We were two families and the house and its layout were perfect. The garden, pool and all the little corners made our stay unbeatable. Jean Eric was a very attentive host. The day of our arrival he waited up for us until dawn (our flight was delayed). His recommendations were very accurate and he responded immediately.

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

Le Châtelet is a place full of history and so pleasant to stay in. You can enjoy the rich region from every point of view and find yourself in the evening at Le Châtelet in the perfect continuum of your discoveries and visits of the day. Grégoire is a passionate and considerate host: everything is done to make your experience at Châtelet unforgettable. I highly recommend staying there.

We had a great time as a family in this charming cottage for the weekend of the ascension. It is an old stone forge (which keeps it cool) with beautiful wooden doors, beautiful furniture, a beautiful staircase… everything has remained authentic, with great taste. There were seven adults and two babies, and frankly, everything was very well thought out to make everyone feel at ease. It has everything you need, nothing is missing. Great bedding. Communication with Eustacia was great! The small garden is lovely and peaceful, the pool was really nice, and the setting… magical. The view, the calm, the village (and this restaurant a minute's walk, too convenient!), everything was perfect. We felt great from the start. We recommend it without a second thought!

Olivier, you have a beautiful property with amazing views across the beach. Your house is pleasantly decorated, very clean and well equipped with everything from kitchenware to bicycles. We had a wonderful weekend in this house that perfectly met our expectations. The place was warm, well-equipped and ideal for enjoying a relaxing time between moms. We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Very nice house! We were three families, and everyone found their place without difficulty. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The pool, parasols, deckchairs, ping pong table… everything is there for a wonderful holiday. The hosting was very nice. And if, during your stay, you have the chance to come across the Friday market in Vouvray, don't miss the superb vegetable and fruit producer — a real favorite!

Geneviève and her family have made a beautiful space with huge volumes very neat. The park is superb with a view of rich and preserved fauna and flora. What a pleasure to watch the deer, the herons in the morning... And the very family-like welcome is remarkable. Thank you for this place and those who know how to share it so well

3 night stay for 6 people with friends, perfect house for our group: spacious, very well-equipped, modern, connected and very well-decorated. We loved the movie theater, the jacuzzi, and the garden to enjoy the outdoor space. Quiet, pleasant place, everything was there, especially the rain shower in the master suite, a real plus! A remote workspace that has been useful to us. Responsive and very accommodating concierge for checkout. No complaints, great stay! Thank you
