In one of the most beautiful regions of Île-de-France, on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, in the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse, with a wonderful view of peaceful pastures where horses graze, the Domaine du Cerf Volant is an enchanted haven of peace 1 hour from Paris by car (or train), close to Versailles and the beauties of Île-de-France. Far from the roads and the hustle and bustle, it is a 2-hectare green setting, set with majestic oaks, bordered by a stream and punctuated by a small pond.

The sheepfold chalet

I offer for rent my small 43 m2 self-built chalet next to my sheepfold, which I use as accommodation in winter. It is located in the municipality of Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme but is outside the municipality, in the middle of the plain, it is accessible by a dirt/pebble path that is passable even in rainy weather. So you are in the heart of the Bay but far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bike path is 100 m away, and you can reach the center of Saint-Valéry in 20 minutes on foot.

We imagined and designed this wooden cabin raised above the meadow as if for us: enter through a small path lined with grasses, push the door and put down your suitcases for a few days of relaxation. The large beech tree is part of a 14-hectare estate with a castle (guesthouse) at its center. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. In the front row to observe the animals of the Estate, this all-wood stilt cottage promises a unique communion with nature. The little extra? Its large terrace overlooking the meadows and its Nordic bath for 4 people.
