Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Upper Franconia

For our annual family reunion with six adults and one child, Lucia's vacation home was perfect. Everything we needed was there and we felt very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are plenty of excursion opportunities in the surrounding area. Kulmbach is not far, and Bayreuth is also easily accessible. A special highlight for us was the visit to Lucia's nearby farm with adorable newborn calves.

A very great property with a lot of love for detail. Communication with Caroline and Alexander was very straightforward, friendly and accommodating. Dancinghaid is the perfect place to relax with friends and family. Everything has been thought of in the house and you immediately feel comfortable. Always happy to stay again! 🌞

I loved the place and exactly what was promised was fulfilled. I needed a break from the noisy everyday life and had therefore explicitly searched for quiet accommodations and landed an absolute hit with this house. Everything was quiet and clean and I had a fantastic time!

The hostess was super nice and often sought personal contact, which we really liked. She was practically always available to us for questions or similar. The house is exceptionally well equipped for a vacation home with everything the family needs. The location is very quiet and therefore we were able to relax well. Definitely recommended!

We had a very relaxing time at Svenja & Alex's place. The house is very cozy, the garden and balcony wonderful for sunbathing and the magnificent nature around it invites you to long hikes. Our two small dogs were also very enthusiastic. Communication was impeccable - Alex and Svenja were quick to help us if we had any questions. We highly recommend the house and would be happy to come back. Thank you for everything!

Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

A very nice and large place in a perfect location right on the Czech border. The apartment is in an older half-timbered house with a lot of character. The tiled stove is a highlight and kept us nice and warm. Kitchen, bathroom and rooms are optimally equipped. The hosts were very nice and reserved a table in the restaurant directly opposite for us on the first evening. The place is highly recommended, we would love to come back.

We had a very relaxed time in the beautiful house in Sophiental. Huge garden - ideal in fine weather. Great equipped kitchen - ideal if you really want to cook. Everything very tasteful (to our taste anyway :) ), not overloaded, but very cozy. This is a long time to endure. You've really designed the house nicely.

The property is in an absolutely peaceful area. There is everything you need and there is a beautiful view. A swimming pond is also available, which is certainly a nice addition to everything in summer. The property is very spacious and beautiful. Communication was also very good and fast.

There were nine of us at Friedrich's place. It was first great. Friedrich is very kind and accommodating, apartment was very cozy and cuddly. Even in bad weather, the area is very nice to walk around. There is also the barn with table tennis and co., a sauna and many games. So be sure to go ! (However, a car is recommended)

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. We had a great stay at Toni's vacation home! The house is modern, tastefully furnished and well equipped – nothing is missing. The location is ideal, with beautiful views of fields and forests. During the day we took walks, and in the evening we enjoyed the wonderful scenery and sunset in the garden while barbecuing and eating. It couldn't be more perfect! We will be happy to come back :)

Everything was really as described online in the place. All rooms were spotlessly cleaned. Air conditioning, swimming pool, sauna, foosball and darts make even the longest stay super pleasant and varied. The sauna and pool can be used completely unrestricted was a huge plus for our group. The outdoor area is equipped with enough furniture and there is enough space to arrange it as you want. A little thing that needs a little extra effort is the seclusion to shopping. There is no supermarket within walking distance. But that was also known from the start and also nothing Jürgen can do. Conclusion: Any time again! Was definitely worth its price (6.).

We felt very comfortable. A lovingly renovated house in a beautiful little place with a great hostess. The different levels in the garden offer many possibilities. Downstairs terrace, barbecue area, upstairs the roof for sports and climbing, the sundeck. Hiking directly from the house. As a quick reader, I also devoured the exciting book written by Tanja. Thank you for making it so nice for your guests!

We felt very comfortable with the two of them. We were received personally and warmly. We came with a dog and there was a small dog bowl and good treats as a welcome gift for her, as well as a sparkling wine for New Year's Eve and two good beers for us. We were able to reach them both easily at any time. But we didn't need to use this, as we had everything we needed. For the dog there were many dirt roads to walk on (but also now and then deer to see which was nice for us and very exciting for the dog). We had one of the most beautiful sunsets there that we've seen in a long time. Thank you, we highly recommend it.

The host was extremely responsive and communicative, ensuring a seamless check-in and stay. The space itself was exactly as expected, but the living area/activity space truly exceeded my expectations - it was top-notch! I'd highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisabeth's place! Everything was as described, or even more beautiful than we imagined! Everything was super clean and Elisabeth even provided us with something to eat. The bungalow is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you could ever need! There was also a high chair and a pre-assembled, high-quality children's travel bed. In general, the place was ideally suited for our needs (with a 10-month-old baby)! We had a great time on the small meadow and the beautiful, quiet sun terrace! The contact with Elisabeth was super nice and friendly! We are looking forward to coming back when our little one is a little bigger and can splash around in the nearby lake! Very cozy apartment, you feel comfortable from the start. Daniel is very friendly and helpful. Daniel lives with his wife above the apartment, so he is always available, but you still enjoy your privacy. Bicycles could be parked in his garage. Our kids loved the in-house chickens. Definitely our apartment for the next family visit to Hof.
