Farmstay vacation rentals in Upper Franconia

I am impreesed by the wonderfull localisation of the Long's Villa. The conditions were great and we spent there 5 wonderfull days. Long is very kind and supporting host. I would reecomend his house to stay to all, that would like to visit this region.

We had a wonderful week here. The cottage is just as cozy and the garden is just as relaxing as in the photos. In our week, we had only felt rain, but you can also sit very well outside and thus defy the rain. This location directly on the hiking trails was just perfect for us.

We spent a weekend there with 7 people. The wife and Mr. Walz live in the building, so communication with questions was very easy. Otherwise, there is everything you need. The apartment is definitely designed for families with smaller children as many toys can be found, but we also felt comfortable as a group of only adults. We can only recommend the apartment.

We were on site with two small children. So the large garden with the many play equipment (swings, slide, trampoline, sandbox, ...) as well as the chickens and adjacent paddock with horses were very well received. There are also some toys available in the accommodation. At any rate, there was no boredom at any time. Just perfect for a break with your family. And otherwise, the furnishings of the accommodation leave nothing to be desired. A lot of what we had brought with us was actually already available on site (salt, pepper, tabs, ...). Communication with Birgit in advance and during the stay was also very pleasant - helpful and informative. For beer lovers, the region is of course beyond any doubt. Paradise on earth. Tip: the Pottensteiner from the Mager Brewery. In short: we will be happy to come back!

We have been to the wonder world for the 3rd time and it feels like a vacation every time. Pleasantly quiet and perfect for animal lovers. As always, the Wunder family is super hospitable and easily accessible. We look forward to next time. :)

The apartment was well equipped. There was nothing missing. I've never slept in such a comfortable guest bed. Highly recommended. It is also well equipped with children's entertainment. The apartment is located in a beautiful area with many great castles. There is an incredible amount to do and explore. Marlene is a very friendly and sociable hostess. We will be happy to come back.

We only stayed for a night, but Michaels house was great and clean. Everything was as described and the house was really comfortable for the 6 of us. We will definitly come back if we are in the area

We spent two nights with the two, the surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. The entire property is well maintained and designed with a lot of love for detail. The photos don't do the place justice, in reality everything is much more beautiful. It is very clean, tastefully decorated and lacks nothing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and communicative. They make a great effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible and there is plenty to discover in the area!

My son and I were on a dad-child weekend in Franconian Switzerland and stayed at Kathi's. The car is super cozy and the surroundings are fantastic with lots of great nature experiences. Due to the location on the edge of the village, you can quickly reach the forest and it is incredibly quiet. We enjoyed playing soccer or frisbee on the big meadow and took great hikes. All tourist hotspots of Franconian Switzerland can be reached quickly by car and Kathi gave great tips. We can definitely recommend the place!

We had a great stay in Muckenreuth! Our warm hosts immediately gave us tips for excursions and festivals – super nice. The apartment is huge (26 steps from left to right, without 3rd bedroom😂) and it really had everything you need – even a VHS player with movies! The location is fantastic: lots of nature, lots of peace, perfect for city people like us. Our children (11, 13) loved it – the son only missed a basketball hoop. We felt really comfortable and would be happy to come back to the Koppelfest next year! Thank you for the wonderful time!

There were nine of us at Friedrich's place. It was first great. Friedrich is very kind and accommodating, apartment was very cozy and cuddly. Even in bad weather, the area is very nice to walk around. There is also the barn with table tennis and co., a sauna and many games. So be sure to go ! (However, a car is recommended)

We felt very comfortable in the Stöhrmühle. We especially enjoyed the play barn for the children, but also the animals as well as fresh eggs and the flair of the area. We would love to come back!

Martin guided us superbly through the road closure due to a construction site. The apartment is really very stylish and was very clean. We enjoyed the super quiet location by the forest. The two dogs were also thought of. The terrace to the owl's nest is very nice and great for breakfast and lounging. Great surroundings with caves, castles and very nice hiking trails for all levels. All around relaxing 4 days in Franconian Switzerland. Thank you to Hanna and Martin for the very nice hospitality. We can recommend the apartment Eulennest without restriction. You can't go wrong here. Very nice hosts...🥰

I was there with my family for a short fall break, the area around the property is beautifully located and you can hike a lot through the beautiful countryside. The accommodation is located a bit outside of Bad Berneck, so a short bun is not possible on foot or becomes a small hike right away. The landlords, who live/work on the farm, are always responsive to questions, but also let you enjoy their vacation and also take care of any people who are still sleeping or when working. If the children played in the park, with the existing toys (Kettcar, pedal tractor, scooter, or also the existing football and small playing field with gates), there were already small conversations with the landlords. There were always small suggestions from the landlord about things to do in the nearby area. We liked it there very much. Thanks for the nice stay

We had the pleasure of visiting this place with 8 people, and we highly recommend it. As soon as we entered, we noticed how clean and well-maintained everything is – an aspect that is already very important to us. The layout was good for us - for 8 men in a double bed, it took some getting used to, but okay. For 8 people (without a child), one person must sleep on the couch, as a double bed is only about 140 cm wide. But no problem for us, we felt very comfortable. We would also like to highlight the very friendly and courteous landlords, who take great care of their guests and are always available for questions or requests. The surroundings are quiet and especially invite you to outdoor activities, such as hiking or cycling.
