Nils and Mette are absolutely lovely people. The cabin is on a beautiful farm with a view of the fjord, very dreamy and beautiful. We had a lovely time there and would love to go back some day. It is quiet, relaxing and a perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend their cabin. They also let us use their other cabin to chill which was right next to the fjord - perfect sunny day for fjord swimming. And yes - the fresh chicken eggs were pure nostalgia for us because it is so rare to get them in cities.

Absolutely stunning log cabin in a very peaceful location. The hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend the sauna too. The cabin was very warm despite it being very cold outside. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in the cabin for two days and really enjoyed it! Everything was perfect – the place was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated that everything was marked with stickers – it was very convenient and made it easy to find. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet, and it was a perfect place to relax. We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot for exploring Oslo. Is a pedestrian area so you may have a little walk with cases but it’s worth it as very quiet spot with lovely view over the bay. Loads of restaurants around so loads of meal options within a few mins walk. Apartment is clean and well maintained and comfy. We were a family with two young boys and they were safe and loved watching their shows on Netflix on the big tv. Second bedroom is small but fine for young kids.

I got nothing but nice words about the cottage and Oxana as a hostess! Extremely charming house and the surroundings are just gorgeous. Very serene and a perfect place for beautiful walks and a peace of mind. Oxana was proactive, responsive and always helpful. I want to return already. Thank you!

Lovely cottage with stylish decor and thoughtful touches for visitors. Everything one would need for a smooth stay is available. Tidy, clean and harmonious indoors. Outdoors recommended! Wow. I can not express how wonderful our experience was over new year at Berit's beautiful cabin. The memories for myself and my family will last a lifetime. The cabin itself is cosy, warm, with simply amazing views. The beds are comfy and there is everything you need. Berit is a wonderful host - so incredibly friendly and responsive. She left some toys for our two year old that were so appreciated and he loved them. My children had so much fun playing in deep snow on the hill. The stroke of midnight was a treat to behold as the neighbouring farms set off fireworks in the snow. What a wonderful holiday. I can not thank Berit enough.

Great view! Easy to use kitchen. Easy to find and get to by car as it is just off a main road (but you don't hear it as main road in this area isn't very busy). I didn't partake, but there were overflowing bowls of candy and a few other kitchen items left out in addition to the listed coffee and tea. I did appreciate the coffee machine in the morning. My only issue was that there was a minor plumbing problem, but Araz was great in responding and the issue has undoubtedly been dealt with long before you are likely to have read this.

A very peaceful and nice place by Glomma. The cabin was exactly as shown on the listing. Here you can disconnect and get the pulse down. The cabin does not have electricity or water and there is something freeing about cooking and boiling water on gas. The host made clear water for use before arrival.

Very spacious cabin for multiple families. It was a big plus that there were toys and the kitchen was well-equipped and with plenty of room for your own things in drawers and cabinets. The cabin is absolutely beautifully situated with views of sunrises and sunsets over the valley. We were allowed to borrow cross-country skiing and tobogganing which was a huge plus, and meant that everyone got to try it out of a day or two. Lifjell Vinterland was close by and even though it is only one alpine hill, it could entertain the family for a few days as it had varied difficulty in it. Some also went on to the other hill in Lifjell, which however requires a car home. The cross-country skiing trails in the area are difficult/steep, so we took a single trip to Grønkjær Ski Shooting arena where everyone had a fun cross-country skiing experience. We enjoyed relaxing in the cabin with sauna, bonfire, spa and games. Thank you for a great experience

We had a lovely time staying at Aurora's apartment. It's clean, located next to several shops and restaurants, close to the train station into Oslo (hourly and takes less than 30mins). Aurora was very responsive the whole time. One thing to note is that there is no sofa in the lounge area so, if you want to relax as a couple you have to do it in the bed. This was ok for a few days but would be tricky for longer. Otherwise, loved it

Annebeth, Martijn and their daughter were excellent hosts. The place was idyllic and was exactly how it was described. The hike to the lake from the cabin was also pretty great and we enjoyed it a lot! It was nice and peaceful. It felt great to disconnect from everything for a couple of days. Our 3 year old daughter had a great time interacting with their dog and chickens as well :) Highly recommend their place for your next getaway!

Such a beautiful place on top of the mountain. Camilla was an absolutely amazing host, in constant contact with us in case we had any needs. We could make tea for our little son, turn on netflix and it felt like a little cottage, SO homely which EVERYTHING you need + a very quick responding host. 5 stars from here!! :-)

I cannot comment on this apartment because a few days before our arrival the agency offered us a shawl, the brennåsel hut because they had a problem. It was a sublime shawl with sauna, 4 bedrooms, in short a little paradise. Check-in was very simple as well as communication.

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

We had the most incredible stay at Nina's cabin. It was the perfect way to spend my Birthday! The cabin and the surrounding area is stunning and we left feeling relaxed and stress-free. Nina made us feel really welcome, gave us lots of local recommendations and we loved our forest bath walk, apple crumble and foraged mushrooms! We hope to be back again one day.
