Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tulum Municipality

if you you are looking for a a spacious ocean front property this may be the place for you. Inside the home it has everything you could possibly need with a beautiful view. Beach area is low traffic and peaceful. The daily cleaning both inside and outside was refreshing as it can get quite sandy and keeps things looking fresh. There are a few restaurants nearby if you're looking for Mexico's authenticity. If you're looking for variety of food you will have to venture out a bit. as for activities there are sea turtles, ruins & cenotes nearby..if you're looking for night life stay in Playa or Cancun. Only negative is going to be the rocky beach. we knew this so it's less of a complaint & more of a warning, you must wear water shoes & still must be careful because there large rocks to navigate when entering the water. Some spots are better if you walk further down beach. water is clear & warm. Take the kayaks out, we saw a whale! Been to Mexico over a dozen times. Will stay here again

Mantaray Hotel was an absolutely lovely boutique hotel on a bay. The staff were attentive and friendly. The room was better than expected from the pictures. Despite the sargassum invasion (seaweed) and rough weather we still enjoyed the beach due to the comfortable loungers

We had an incredible stay in Tulum, and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Hollie and Jorge's communication was outstanding from the moment we booked. They were quick to respond and ensured that we had everything we needed. The place was well-equipped with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and even spare sunblock—everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the meal services from William and Claudia. It was such a treat to arrive and find a delicious dinner waiting for us, and breakfast the next morning was equally amazing. Having that convenience made our trip even more relaxing. Armando and William were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. Overall, this was one of the best stays we've had, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum. We’ll definitely be back!

Alla's place provided the perfect space for our family of six, offering enough comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, all decorated beautifully and clean. she was available when we had any questions and suggested a couple of local spots we can enjoy that we're both close and affordable. The garden and pool are beautiful! We did not get to stay as long as we hoped but hope to return soon!

It was great safe location and many cute restaurants in walkable distances but you need a car to go to beach, cenote or local restaurants. I rented a car and I am glad that I did. Just 10-20min distance on drive. Met host Tania and her adorable daughter Mayaluna when we walked in the roof top pool on the day of arrival and they throw her daughter’s b-day party and she offered me a cocktail. It was pleasant to meet her family. Both Tania and Xavier were super responsive and helpful. Two concierge Hernandes and Jordy were always there for us and no issue at all to in and out of the Condo. The place is just as photos and I stayed in penthouse. Very spacious room but the living room and kitchen was not as spacious compared to the room and master bedroom was in upstairs. I traveled with my two almost adult kids (17, 19) and they loved to have their own room. I prefer to large living room with balcony but it was my personal preference. We had a great time in there.

Glynis’s place is paradise - it really lives up to expectations for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. Great weather and really no sargazo to speak of. Many, many fish and saw three different rays. Kids loved it, too. Casa Playa Maya really has everything you need, plus it’s friendly, low key and laid back. As people build more expensive beach houses around Bahia de Soliman, Glynis’s place is one of the last remaining affordable, attractive options, it’s a taste of the way the Bahia used to be. I would definitely return.

Words cannot express what an amazing stay we had at Casa Chaca and in Akumal, but i will give it my best! The house is perfect, our mornings and evenings spent on the sand right out the door, facing the beautiful Caribbean sea and Akumal Bay were unprecedented. We watched the sunrise on the lovely furniture provided every morning, enjoyed the hammock, watched Iguanas and squirrels and drank fresh coconut water from coconuts cut down out of the palm trees for us by Jamie, the groundskeeper. Guille, the property manager, was over the top helpful when we asked where to eat and when our rental car wouldnt start a few times, gathered help from her friends so we could jump start the car and continue on with our vacation. The beach trail to Akumal was amazing, we loved shell hunting and snorkeling in clear blue waters, we kayaked every day with the provided equipment and enjoyed hours of paddling. Neighbors on Akumal Bay were so helpful and even told us when the locals were releasing the baby turtles from their nest to the ocean and were were able to view this amazing part of nature, never imagining we would actually get to! The beds were wonderful, furnishings were beautiful and I could go on and on!Thank you everyone for the amazing memories you all contributed to, we will be back to Akumal and Casa Chaca as soon as we can!

My husband and I travelled with 2 of our boys, ages 13 and 6, and my in-laws (early 80’s) joined us mid-week. I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the attentiveness to our needs by the staff. Everything as pictured and then some. We absolutely loved our stay and would come again in a heartbeat. We are currently trying to plan our next stay. The private area along with convenience to a cenote, town, a grocery store - we did not feel like we missed a thing and everything we needed was so close! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here and would highly encourage you to. I worried our boys wouldn’t like it, but they had so much fun in the pool, along the shore in tide pools, hunting for crabs at night, watching the birds - it was all amazing. Definitely in our top 3 vacations and we hope to go again!

Our stay was fabulous! The house is beautiful and the pool and dock were great. We had a big group and six kids with us and the house accommodated all of our needs. The casita was perfect for the family with the younger children for nap etc. All of the staff were so kind and gracious and helpful. The house was cleaned every day which is always a big treat and helpful at the beach. The pool and grounds were also attended to everyday and looked beautiful. We loved the ease of getting into the ocean from the dock — great for snorkeling. And the pool was perfect for the kids. We also loved the big outdoor dining table so we could have family meals. Marilu, Bryan, and Cristofer were all extremely responsive and helpful. We hope we can stay again sometime in the future!
