The Shady Knoll

The Shady Knoll was created and is managed by a great local Three Rivers Team. We really do care about all our guests in regards to your experience at our vacation rentals as well as your visit to "our neck of the woods". The ‘Knoll’ is located on a secluded and quiet lane only 2 miles from the Sequoia Park entrance and it really is on a Shady Knoll. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, spices, a blender, and a toaster, everything you would need to prepare meals in-house for those who love to cook. We also provide you with coffee and assorted teas, along with a few complimentary goodies. We provide plenty of local information and tips from your Host including where to go if you just prefer dining out! The bathrooms are always clean with plenty of fresh, clean towels. We also supply you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The beds are all top of the line King size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We also use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort. The couches and the dining room table are comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large HD-tv and very good Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we provide you with free Netflix! There is a BBQ on the deck and the living room is situated to take in views of the (often) snow-peaked Sierra Mountains. The views from the front and back are some of the best in Three Rivers and each is completely different. Relax on the huge back deck with a panoramic view of Moro Rock and Alta Peak! The small front deck looks over the whole town of Three Rivers. You will have a view of Eagles Peak and you can often hear the Kaweah River in the valley below. Always be on the lookout for photo ops of our local wildlife and those Selfie Shots! During your stay, you will have complete access to the home and privacy as well. If you have any questions or need anything I am available 24/7 however it is not mandatory that we meet. Most people just want privacy and of course a clean and comfortable stay. WE GIVE YOU THAT! COME STAY AT THE 'KNOLL'. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Our home is 5 bedrooms, 4 bath, (3 are suites with king and queen beds & private bathrooms), 8 beds and a sleeper sofa, huge game room & amazing outdoor living area. We have a private fenced pool and huge yard on the fairway of River Island golf course. Springville is 3 hours North of LA, 3.5 hours south of San Jose in the foothills of the Sierra mountains. We are 90 minutes South of Sequoia National Park and 45 minutes West of Balch Park, home of the largest trees in the world.

IF you're looking for a quit place to get away, this is it. It's not fancy but it is quit, and who can't use some time to them self? Artie's and nature lovers will love this place, watch the stars at night and listen to the frogs and crickets, ease away the tension. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some beautiful places and this place is up there as one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. Peace on earth does exist and it is here. Shea, Pam and co were extremely accommodating and very responsive to any questions or queries I had. The accommodation is a short drive from the park entrance so is the perfect base camp for exploring the amazing sights to be had there. I will come back with my family one day I hope.

The home and surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect sized place for the amount of family staying at the location together for a weekend vacation. The sounds of the river was so peaceful along with the other sounds of nature. We are one hundred percent considered this location for future getaways.

We absolutely adored Hailey’s place! It was extremely clean and had so many thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. The location is perfect—close to the entrance to sequoia national park and to three rivers town. Being on the river is a special treat as well! It felt like we were very secluded. Perfect for a weekend getaway from LA!

Overall our family had such a great experience at her cabin. We fit well in the space, it had everything we needed for our family of 8. We enjoyed the early morning watching the deers and the nights under the porch seeing the stars! We were very close to the local market, shops and a lounge. The drive to the Sequoias was so scenic and peaceful. I would recommend this cabin for a family with teenage boys too😊🌲🧳

Great location! About ten minute drive to entrance of Sequoia. Right near restaurants and shops of Three Rivers. Also right on the river which made for a great view. House meets all the basic needs, no frills, but you have everything you need. Great outdoor area. Very secure with gate. Fire pit was wonderful to use at night. Hosts checked in and were available if needed. Note: the restaurant next door has live music Fri, Sat, and Sun until 9pm so is a bit loud. Otherwise you can hear much over there. Also, bathroom setup is a bit awkward for anyone more than one family—has doors to both bedroom and dining room so not much privacy. Overall great spot to be if you’re planning on visiting the parks!

Shea's home is lovely. We stayed for a weekend while visiting Sequoia National Park. The house was super clean and nicely decorated. The property is peaceful and feels secluded, and we enjoyed seeing the horses and occasional wild turkeys milling about. Cell reception is spotty on the property, but this is the case in most of Three Rivers. It was not an issue for us at all, and the wifi worked excellently.

We stayed for 2 nights while visiting sequoia national park. The Airbnb was located closed to the park entrance and is walkable to a grocery store, a cafe and a pizza place. House is clean, kitchen is well equipped and the hosts are responsive to any questions.
