The Heart of California

EdgarRating, 5 stars3 days ago
As our first time going to Sequoia NP, we enjoyed staying at this place, especially since it’s an hour away to the national park. We brought our three dogs with us and they really enjoyed playing in the backyard. Just be aware of the red ants in the backyard and try not to leave any food lying around but other than that you should be good. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient to have a Target, a Costco, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We would definitely come back and stay at this place.

Sierra Vista Casita — Escape and Relax🌺

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed for two nights and found it absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic for accessing the national park and the instructions from Jana made it easy to find. Jana also sent some local event info before we arrived which was really appreciated. The accommodation itself was excellent, well stocked with everything we needed for cooking etc. The bed is really comfy and the jacuzzi is an added bonus. Overall, fantastic place to stay if you want home comforts and somewhere with easy access to the sequoia national park. Would definitely stay again!
A spacious home is surrounded by natural greenery, blending with the landscape. The exterior features a wrap-around deck and multiple outdoor sitting areas. The setting sun casts a warm glow over the property, highlighting the inviting atmosphere of the hilltop location.

Giant Sequoia Mountains Retreat Home

JebRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Ava is very responsive and proactive about communications about the house. The place is spacious and clean. Long ways to gas and food and Pine Flat is very isolated. Surprisingly number of houses for so little services. If you’re looking for a jump-off spot to some sequoias or are in town for work like us, this is a great option.
The bathroom features wooden cabinetry with dual sinks and modern lighting. A large mirror reflects the space, while a shower curtain in muted tones encloses the shower area. Neutral-colored walls and tile flooring create a clean, inviting environment.

Sierra Nevada Ranch House

JerrittRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

Absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by all the thoughtful details that made the space feel warm and welcoming. This is a lovely home, clean, spacious and charming. It is just a few minutes from the entrance of Sequoia National Park but feels like a quiet oasis. Sequoia National Forest Cabin/ATV ride

HunterRating, 5 stars27 months ago
Jim and Karen were so nice to lend us an ATV to help move our things when we decided not to test our car on the final hill to the cabin. They checked in on us frequently before and during our stay. The cabin is cozy and private, and there was plenty of firewood available. We had a lovely long weekend, and our dog loved the snow!

Cozy Sequoia Cabin Camp Nelson

DianaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lisa’s cabin was absolutely perfect for a quick, peaceful family getaway. It is even cozier and nicer than the photos suggest! We arrived in the evening and Lisa was great about giving us clear check in instructions. We made smores by the fire and woke up to a magnificent view on a crisp mountain morning. I was thankful Lisa mentioned the waffle maker — I brought ingredients for waffles and it was my first time making them. My kids loved them! We took family walks around Camp Nelson and saw Soda Springs, then went all the way to Nelson trailhead which is also walking distance from the cabin. One thing I would tell future guests is to bring groceries, bc the two general stores nearby weren’t well stocked when we visited in April (maybe they are during high tourist season?). That said, we appreciated the cabin had a lot of essentials including coffee beans and a grinder. We would absolutely return. Thanks for being a lovely host, Lisa!

Quaint, Private, Cottage

EleanorRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Booked Vonnie’s place as a one night pit stop before heading to Sequoia National Park. Place was very cozy and smelled so good from the orange blossoms surrounding us. The animals were so cute. Vonnie was also very communicative and answered any questions, and she was kind enough to gift us some honey, oranges and orange juice upon our arrival. Highly recommended!

Glass House is it True? Yes it is!

PiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our family had a really peaceful and meaningful time at the Glass House. The sculptures around the yard were really quite interesting to examine. My kids enjoyed exploring the river. Our pups had so much fun during our walks. There were some very minor issues and Sheila quickly responded. The house was clean, everything nicely organized, and a great distance to the National Parks. Having all glass walls was such a trip. We watched a scary movie the first night so we didn’t want to go outside that night (lol), but the next night, we really enjoyed a clear sky filled with stars. It was really nice waking up surrounded by nature. We hope to visit again soon and only wish there were more rooms and bathrooms so we can bring our family and friends!

Peaceful Farm Cottage

MariajoseRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The whole area of Terra Bella smells of beautful orange blossom during this time. In the mornings, you'll catch an array of birds chirping away in the trees. The host, Joanie, is very thoughtful, leaving fresh fruit in the kitchen and fresh flower bouquets from her garden in each room. I really enjoyed the art displayed in the home illustrated by members of the Paternoster family. We caught a glimpse of the duck, cats, and dogs all of which were very loving! If you enjoy greenery and flowers, animals, and tranquility, you will absolutely enjoy staying at Joanie's place.

My family loved the time there and we will certainly go back. Highly recommend!
