Vacation rentals in Trélissac

The gite was lovely and Lynn and Nicola were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because my elderly husband had banged his head on the low doorway (despite it being labelled as low), stunned him and cut his head open. In view of his history of subdural haematoma this was worrying. And then he missed the low step into the bedroom and went flying, injuring his hand and chin. We thought it too risky to stay on but this was our problem, not the gite's. We were really sorry to have to leave. The garden was ideal for our dogs. The neighbourhood was pretty, and historic with some nice walks. We enjoyed exploring the countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend the gite although perhaps not so much for people with limited mobility.

Had a great 12 day stay at Alexa's property. Very comfortable/spacious accommodation. Alexa could not have been more helpful, she even waited up to greet me, despite me having a few travel challenges and not arriving until around 23:00Hrs. She provided some essential provisions upon arrival (milk, bread, coffee, cheese, ham, wine and a couple of beers) which was fantastic. The location was ideal as I was on a property hunt and it was central to my search area. The local village was around 2Km away and has a small shop for any essential purchases. There were several larger towns with bars, restaurants, super markets, petrol stations within a 15-20 min drive. There were larger towns and cities that were between a 30-60 min drive which is easily doable on France's quiet and well maintained road system. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use the pool due to the weather. I would definitely stay at Alexa's again if the need arose and highly recommend it for anyone touring Perigord.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans la maison de Sandrine. Le lieu est parfait pour une famille, la maison est spacieuse, très agréable et très bien située, à pieds du centre ville de Perigueux. Je recommande vivement !

Un grand merci à Marie Ange pour ce logement dans un cadre qui nous a tous séduit. Rien à dire, la propreté du logement est impeccable, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Marie Ange rendent le séjour encore plus appréciable !!

I cannot say enough nice things about our experience staying at this Airbnb in Plazac. First of all, the area is stunning - Plazac is a sweet little village and close to so many other wonderful villages and attractions. But what set it apart for us was the following: - the incredible kindness of our hosts, who live just across the road but are incredibly respectful of our privacy yet very helpful when needed. - their proactive communication and incredibly friendly attitude - the warm welcome we received after a long journey, including food and wine (and eggs from their chickens!) to make our first night easier. - the house was even better than we’d hoped for - spotlessly clean with new appliances and generous bedding, towels etc. Decor is tasteful and the furniture is in excellent condition. - wonderful recommendations for local restaurants, help getting a quick appointment for our dog with the local vet (very good experience) and a doctor for myself when unexpectedly needed etc.

Das Ferienhaus ist in allen Bereichen sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Viel Platz zum Schlafen, Wohnen und Essen, eine tolle Küche mit allem was man braucht, dazu eine grosse und teilweise überdachte Terrasse - perfekt um auch bei Regen draussen zu sitzen. Eigener Pool, eine sehr grosse Rasenfläche und dahinter Wiesen bis zum Wald, auf der wir abends häufig Rehe und Hirsche beobachten konnten…die weite Aussicht über das Tal ist absolut einzigartig und die Sonnenuntergänge fantastisch! Wunderbar ruhige Lage, keine Strasse in der Nähe (perfekt für die Hunde). Haus, Pool und der riesige Garten sind extrem gut gepflegt und von den Besitzern mit sehr viel Arbeit und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und angelegt. Sie kümmern sich um alles (inkl. Pool- und Garten), sind immer ansprechbar, respektieren aber vollkommen deine Privatsphäre. Fabrice und Valérie sind die nettesten und herzlichsten Gastgeber, die man sich nur wünschen kann und es war ein "Urlaub im Paradies" - TOP!

Très bon séjour. La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle. La grande salle, à la fois cuisine, salon et salle à manger permet de recevoir tout le monde et de passer des moments très chaleureux en famille alors que les 4 chambres permettent à chacun·e d'avoir son espace. L'insert permet de réchauffer le tout quand il faut bien froid dehors.
