Home was very clean and beds were very comfortable! Loved the massaging chair.

Beautiful town with lots of neat shops to explore. Amenities could use some updating but everything was clean and orderly.

The views off the top floor balcony are stunning! A great view of the sunrise over the lake. The house is very large and spacious with all the amenities you would need for a long stay. Well stocked utensils and cookware in the kitchen. A great loft area that turned into our prime hangout spot. Patricia is very quick and responsive and the check-in/out was a breeze.

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

Great location and close to great restaurants. Second floor patio was very relaxing and private with an amazing view. We will definitely be back.

My family and I visited the cabin for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the check-in process. We even received a message about checking in early. The kitchen was clean. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as some seasonings that we could use. All dishes and utensils were easy to find. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very well put together. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom exceeded my expectations. There was a wraparound patio and a door from the master bedroom that led to it. This was a really nice touch. The basement had a nice size kids area and some family style games. Everyone enjoyed those. There was a fire pit and a Jacuzzi outside we use the fire pit nightly. We did have to stop by the local Walmart, which was not far to get some wood. Initially, there was an issue with the Internet, but I was able to reach out and resolve it within an hour. I definitely appreciated the quick response. I would definitely revisit this locatio

We stayed at Alfred’s place to celebrate my birthday and explore local wineries, and it was absolutely perfect! The home was super nice, spotless and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend. Everything was just as described-if not better! Alfred was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I’d definitely recommend his place to anyone visiting!

Cottage was as advertised and much more!! From seeing deer’s in the morning and evening as well as the recreation center for some arcade fun. The locution was within short drives to winery’s. Downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge are also short drives for grate places to eat and shop. Definitely will be back!!!

Barry and Tricia are both so lovely, they were always very professional and extensive with their responses which I appreciated. The house was gorgeous and very spacious. It was very clean with an amazing view of the lake behind. We met the previous owner and he was very kind as well. The only thing I could think to ask of them is to include more pictures in the listing! You are gatekeeping your gorgeous home! lol This is a worthwhile stay with a group of friends or family. We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for relaxing and spending time connecting! We really appreciated every small detail throughout the home down to the dog bones and bowls for the pups. These ladies thought of everything. It felt like home! Having stayed in many rental properties, this home is a shining star and one I would highly recommend! It was a positive and truly a memorable experience!

Our stay was beyond enjoyable. The house was so beautiful and the amenities were ideal for our stay. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm. My favorite amenity was the workout area just down the street. I worked out every morning and the equipment options kept me busy. The view from each room just gorgeous. We will absolutely be coming back. The area has great restaurant options in all directions and there is also a mountain hike to the highest elevation in GA where you can see multiple states from the top. It’s a great place for a couple get away or for a small family to enjoy the mountain air and small town feel.

The host Kenny was amazing. His cabin accommodated my family of 5 needs in space, location, bedrooms and baths. The scenery in this community and around this cabin was fantastic. Especially seeing deer everywhere. Big Canoe as a community is phenomenal and very family orientated. Lots to do . Can’t wait to plan another vacation here.

Lorraine was very responsive when we booked an additional night stay. The house was large with plenty of space for us all to hang out together or relax alone in the spacious bedrooms. I ate breakfast on the back sunroom and could hear the birds chirping. We all enjoyed the massage chair which was an additional benefit that no other vacation home has had available. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. We used the BBQ grill which was in good condition and worked perfectly. The house was close to the Murphy River Walk which was beautiful and gave easy access to the shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this vacation home in the future.
