Vacation rentals with a kayak in Toccoa River

My family loved Jessica’s house. Easy access to the river, and there’s a nice 1/2 mile loop we could do with our pup. House is beautiful- enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and sauna. She has a fire pit down the steps by the river that looked amazing- just a little too cold when we visited. Would 100% stay here again. Jessica as a host was very easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze and she resolved a very minor issue promptly which we greatly appreciated.

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

We had a wonderful time staying here. This charming cabin has everything you will need for your stay! Its so cozy and fun and the host really did think of it all when it comes to accommodating to guests. From a little charging station for your devices, to a tv in every room, kayaks, grill, a hot tub this place really does have it all!! We had so much fun. The porch was my absolute favorite spot to be. We had a fantastic time!! I was so sad to leave. We will for sure be back!!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.

What a FUN Getaway Cabin! I honestly feel we didn't spend enough time just enjoying the space. Exceptionally clean with plenty of necessities. We appreciated there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we did not have to run to the store for more. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub use. We are an active family of 4 with 2 upper elementary children and we all equally enjoyed the space. The wifi was excellent (this is not always the case with lake cabins!), the living and dining spaces were large and welcoming for the whole family to be together. So many games to choose from. We visited in Spring, but this would be a great winter hideout as well! Overall just so pleased with our stay!! Close to so many activities. I will note the King bed is in the upstairs bedroom. This worked okay for us, but I did overlook that in this listing.

I reserved this AirBnb for my parents to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. I am posting this review on behalf of them! - This was the perfect setting for my husband and I to celebrate my 60th birthday. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was really nice and having a dock right out your backdoor was a great amenity and perfect for our pontoon boat. The close proximity to numerous restaurants was a plus and we enjoyed visiting Bell Mountain to take in the views of Lake Chatuge and Hiawassee. Our host, Leslie was quick to respond when we reached out to her. We look forward to visiting again!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

I want to give a 10-star rating, but the system only gives me five 🌟. Robin's family is very friendly and knowledgeable. We can talk about all new things together. Their dog is also very friendly and I can't let it go. There are also two cute donkeys on their farm. Every morning when I wake up, I want to say hello to them. In short, I will come here again. It is a quiet, beautiful and charming environment. I wish you all the best!

Great location and very peaceful. Short walk to the lake. Well equipped cabin and is very clean and comfortable. Great comma from the host. No issues during the stay.

Great get-away for a family! Lots to do on the property, you can fish, swing, look for salamanders in the creek and look at the waterfall. Sitting by the firepit watching the river go by was relaxing.

Patsy’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. Seeing it with our own eyes was even better than the pictures on the listing. Beautiful lake front. Multiple outside dining and grilling spaces and a dock. There were only 4 of us but 3-4 more peeps could’ve joined us comfortably. Patsy was great with communicating and answering our questions. We would come back.

Love the space, perfect for large groups!!

Chris was a delightful host. Kind, responsive and helpful! The home was super clean and well appointed. We so enjoyed the amazing views and the hot tub and our grand children loved playing “corn bag” as they called it. There are some steep stairs to the basement recreation area but they have taken great care to have handles where needed and reminders to watch your step. I appreciated all the instruction qr codes and little printed framed signs to help guests. We look forward to returning.

This home is so warm and reminded me of a lake cottage even though it’s a big house. There was so much to do we didn’t even get to everything. All the appliances are top of the line, beds are comfy but best of all is the outside area my group did a-lot of fishing and played in the paddle boat and canoe. We saw deer and maybe a beaver I’m not sure what it was but it was cute . Kristen checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good and was very quick to fix a issue that I had even though it was something that could have waited she wanted to make sure I had a five star experience. I can’t wait to go back with family. Thank you so much Kristen for sharing your home it was a great experience.

WOW such a great escape from the city with our family and friends. Being able to play, eat, and just have a cup of coffee outside and listen to the sounds of the river was so peaceful. Chelsea did everything possible to make our trip great- including ordering fishing rods and a tackle box so my young son could experience fishing for the first time. Also the Blackstone grill was a huge surprise for us and we used it to grill almost every meal!

Excellent stay! The house was beautiful and very clean. I would highly recommend if you are going to Ellijay, to stay at this home. The lake was quiet and great for kayaking and fishing. The house was very homey and fully stocked kitchen. The view of the lake was great and had a great bonfire our last night there. I would definitely stay here again. 15 minutes to shops and restaurants. Thank you for opening your vacation home to us. We look forward to staying there again!

Truly, a beautiful place to make memories… The lake is gorgeous, there are so many amenities at this property not just all the water sports equipment. But the fire-pit, sitting out there in the evenings, watching the sunset, blissful. The property is incredibly well equipped, the host, incredibly responsive and kind. It really was an absolute joy for my family to stay there. I cannot recommend this home enough. Book this one, you won’t be disappointed.

This cabin was wonderful!! The 8 of us had PLENTY of room for fun & games (and alone time if someone wanted that). The hosts were always super responsive if we had questions and gave us a bunch of recommendations for local events! The kids loved the bunk bed room, the pools & rec center. The adults loved relaxing on the top deck, hot tub, and the privacy of the cabin. Our youngest is severely autistic so we loved having a whole house to ourselves so he’d be able to be as loud or rambunctious as he needed to be ❤️ Would 10000% come again!

My husband and I rented this cabin for our baby moon. We took our two pups with us as well. We all had the best vacation. David's place is literally a lake escape. The drive up the road to the cabin is so peaceful! We went for nightly walks and saw deer multiple times and fireflies each night truly magical! The neighbors were all super friendly. We spent every afternoon on the dock for hours. The water is super clean and clear and the lake is absolutely breathtaking. We also used the kayaks each night to swim out and watch the sunset. David's cabin has absolutely everything that you would need while on vacation. We will definitely be back to this cabin! Probably our favorite Airbnb we've ever stayed.
