House vacation rentals in Toccoa River

Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

This house has everything you need for a getaway. We stayed on the decks more than in the house. The furniture outside has been upgraded since the photos on the listing. Kitchen was spotless and had everything I need to cook for my family. I will be back. There are 125 steps to get to the water. I knew it would be a trek, so it didn’t bother me. But, just a heads up if you aren’t able to climb that many steps. All of the houses are like that.

Our stay was beyond enjoyable. The house was so beautiful and the amenities were ideal for our stay. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm. My favorite amenity was the workout area just down the street. I worked out every morning and the equipment options kept me busy. The view from each room just gorgeous. We will absolutely be coming back. The area has great restaurant options in all directions and there is also a mountain hike to the highest elevation in GA where you can see multiple states from the top. It’s a great place for a couple get away or for a small family to enjoy the mountain air and small town feel.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb for our girls’ weekend! The house was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Every one of us slept comfortably, which can be rare when traveling in a group, but this place was so well set up. The location was secluded and very private, surrounded by nature, which made for such a peaceful retreat. We even saw a lot of deer right outside, which was a beautiful touch! Our host was fantastic—very responsive and incredibly helpful with recommendations. She suggested some great wineries and restaurants in the area, as well as local hikes to explore. One of her recommendations, Roo Winery, was a standout. We went there and had a wonderful experience—the wine and atmosphere were great. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we would definitely come back!

We loved Russell's house! Every year we try to find the perfect MDW house on a river and this was hands down the best one yet. The views and sound of the river was amazing. The amenities were great and just as listed. The house was perfect to entertain adults as well as children, there was always something for everyone to do. I loved the special touch of all the curtains and the ability to feel like you were right on the water with all of the glass but also be able to make the rooms dark and private so you could enjoy your rest. The beds were also very comfy. The kitchen had absolutely everything which was super nice and very convenient. We loved how big and cozy the main room was too. Also, anytime I had a question, Russell would respond within minutes which was awesome. I would highly recommend Russell's house and can't wait to go back!!

I decided to book a last-minute getaway—literally on the day of my 30th birthday—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. It was me, my wife, our two kids (11 and 5), and my mom. We were completely stressed trying to get out of the house, but the moment we arrived, all of that melted away. This was, hands down, our best Airbnb stay to date. The house was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. The pool was a huge hit—so much so that we had to practically drag the kids out of it! The lake view was absolutely stunning, and everyone loved their rooms. There’s honestly nothing negative I can say about our experience. The location is perfect—just 5 minutes down the road is Hiawassee Brew, where we enjoyed a great lunch and some local beers. Despite the peaceful setting, you're not isolated at all—there’s even a Dollar General a minute away for any quick needs. Oh, and the Wi-Fi? Solid! The hosts were fantastic: easy check-in, super responsive, and very accommodating

This was an incredible location for a friend’s lowkey bachelorette trip. Not only were the views stunning, but the home itself was a dream! I wish we had longer than a weekend to enjoy the space. Everything in the house was well thought out and things were labelled so you knew where to put them. On top of that, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Downtown Blue Ridge is not too far away and there’s a good horseback riding place nearby as well. I would book this place again in the future!

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! The host went above and beyond in every way—truly the most thoughtful and attentive host I’ve encountered. Every detail in the cabin was carefully curated to make the stay feel not just comfortable, but nourishing. From the cozy accommodations to the little extras they provided to make it more enjoyable, it was clear that so much heart went into creating this space. I felt completely at ease and cared for the entire time. The view was absolutely beautiful—such a peaceful backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were extremely responsive throughout our stay, and when we needed a quick fix (a smoke detector battery replacement), they had someone out in record time. The handyman was polite, efficient, and courteous—just another example of the top-tier hospitality we experienced. Highly, highly recommend Aura Pines if you’re looking for a restorative getaway with hosts who genuinely care about your experience

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

The perfect place for some R&R! The porch with its comfy furniture, fireplace and swing bed was exactly where I wanted to be to watch the rain for the entire weekend. We slept SOLID in the comfy beds and dark rooms at night. Kitchen was extremely well stocked! would love to go back!

This was a great cabin for a couples getaway. There is a separate bedroom on the first floor detached from the rest of the house so if you are traveling with a group, this is a great option for those who like a little more privacy. Very close to all the best restaurants and shops that Blue Ridge has to offer. The guys on our trip loved how close we were to the lake and were able to do some successful fishing.

This is an amazing cabin with great amenities and all of the beautiful views. If there was one thing that would make the experience better or easier it would be a welcome book of clear instructions on how to work the AC and lights or even the sauna. Overall it was a great experience and a great value for the money!

We enjoyed our stay at the Toccoa River Cottage. Great river front location and the bed was extremely comfortable! Have already booked again! We enjoyed the proximity to downtown Blue Ridge while feeling miles away!

My family loved Jessica’s house. Easy access to the river, and there’s a nice 1/2 mile loop we could do with our pup. House is beautiful- enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and sauna. She has a fire pit down the steps by the river that looked amazing- just a little too cold when we visited. Would 100% stay here again. Jessica as a host was very easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze and she resolved a very minor issue promptly which we greatly appreciated.

Peach and Palms Vacation was amazing! Perfectly accommodated 12 people and it was so easy to check in and check out. Hosts are very informative and communicative. The house was so clean when we arrived too. If you’re looking for a nice place to glamp, this is the place for you.

This home was perfect for my parents, especially my dad who has mobility issues. We rented another cabin for the rest of our family in the same neighborhood. This was the perfect set up as we had meals with my mom and dad all together, but could retreat when they needed time to rest. The interior is beautifully decorated and we loved the firepit area near the creek. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host!

This place was so wonderful to walk in to after a long travel day! The screened in 3 season room was a perfect place to sit and listen to nature while drinking coffee/wine. Kelly was always available for questions. She had a book with every bit of information you would need for the house and surrounding area. Everything was spotless in the house. Comfortable furniture and bed! They had some toiletries in case you forgot some items. A few coffee pods and sugars/honey and creamers. Things are labeled and the kitchen was very well stocked. Such a lovely place! There’s a Publix right as you enter the area to stock up on groceries. Would love to come back here again. We loved staying in this area as we visited some wineries and took some beautiful hikes. The Anna Ruby’s Falls north of Helen were beautiful and it’s a national park. Bring your national park pass if you have one. Amicalola Falls was amazing to hike up to. The little square of Dahlonega was very quaint.

It was a beautiful home. Peaceful surroundings, great area and close to town if you need or want to go in. It was exactly what I thought I was getting a we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a FUN Getaway Cabin! I honestly feel we didn't spend enough time just enjoying the space. Exceptionally clean with plenty of necessities. We appreciated there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we did not have to run to the store for more. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub use. We are an active family of 4 with 2 upper elementary children and we all equally enjoyed the space. The wifi was excellent (this is not always the case with lake cabins!), the living and dining spaces were large and welcoming for the whole family to be together. So many games to choose from. We visited in Spring, but this would be a great winter hideout as well! Overall just so pleased with our stay!! Close to so many activities. I will note the King bed is in the upstairs bedroom. This worked okay for us, but I did overlook that in this listing.

I absolutely loved our stay at Tiffany’s place. It is exactly as described. She went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The added touches were very appreciated. There was nothing that was needed or wanted for. The place is pristine!!!

What a great place!! The views were amazing and it was nice to have king size beds for each one of us with our on bathroom. Enjoyed the hot tub and all the amenities provided. Was perfect for our girls weekend getaway!!
