Vacation rentals with breakfast in Tijuana

One of the essential areas of consideration during booking your accommodation for your vacation is safety, especially in cities like Tijuana where the wrong areas and safe areas can be merely one street apart. Not being locals to the area, we really didn't know where to stay that'd be considered safe. Especially considering that some reviews seem to be disingenuous, claiming some rentals to be safe when our experiences showed otherwise. Our first night, we ended up booking a place that boasted how safe it is, but then turned out to be one of the worst areas in TJ. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and booked Diana's place last minute. During our drive to Diana's, we could tell the neighborhood was very calm, quiet, and much cleaner. We pulled up to the property and saw that they had a two- car garage (manual door, but still better than most other places that only have street parking) where we were able to park. Once we parked, Debora - who is just about the most helpful and friendliest person ever - gave us a quick tour of the property and the WiFi password. During our four- night stay, we had absolutely no problems with the safety, noise, cleanliness, or communication with the host. It's very clean, VERY roomy, plus Diana and Debora were on hand to help us with any issues within minutes of contact. Granted, this rental is pricier than some of the other ones, but it was definitely worth it: safe neighborhood, garage parking, three bedrooms, two and half bathroom, AC, hot water, great water pressure, etc. Thank you again for the great accommodation and we will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Super accessible location, great communication with the host

Host was very kind and helpful at all times. He made everything in the house easy for us. We had everything at hand, coffee, hot water in the shower, internet. We felt very calm, confident and safe throughout the stay. We are very grateful!

Pros: Clean linens, everything needed to cook a meal, close to the border, and as close as a house can get to the ocean waves. It’s a good house for adults to party. I was able to catch a shark from the roof in front of the deck. Cons: top deck does not have safety railing to keep people, kids, or animals from falling 60’ to the rocks below. The house is right next to neighboring houses, with nothing stopping them from walking into the house. The beach access is far away, and the stairs going down are dangerous, and require jumping about 4’ over a drainage ditch due to a broken bridge. The beach is full of trash. The trash can was over flowing, trash everywhere, and about six dead seagulls. Nearby fishermen use ravage the muscles off of the rocks for chum and use nets to harvest most of the fish.

This was my first stay with Airbnb and the experience could not have been better. I felt very much at home and got a good nights sleep. The location, inside Real Del Mar, felt safe and comfortable. Thanks Dania!

Nicole’s house was great. Her house was so comfortable that we felt at home when we got there. Our stay there flew by fast. The instructions she left for us was easy to understand and made checking in the place easy. The house was clean and beautiful. Communication with Nicole was very easy and would reply within a few minutes. She was eager to make our stay memorable. A lot of available parking on the street. I was not worried about finding parking at night. Would love to stay at Nicole’s place again.

Karl was amazing. This was my first long stay in a Airbnb and I felt like home. Place is awesome and Karl is even Better

Our stay was wonderful! The house was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. Super cozy little spot with a lot of cute shops and restaurants nearby. Loved the walkability of the neighborhood and it's quite accessible to all that San Diego has to offer!

An ideal bnb homestay! The private bedroom and bathroom were perfect and also immaculately clean. Deborah has created a beautiful, cozy, and personal home, and I felt immediately at ease. Deborah herself is also personable and warm, and her daily breakfast was 💯. It was a great location for visiting local friends, and it was easy to get an Uber/Lyft from her home to anywhere in the city. Wifi worked well for for work and for Zoom. I was typically out all day but looked forward to returning to Deborah's home at night for peace and quiet. Thanks, Deborah!

This was a very cozy and cute bed and breakfast. Felt like a little slice of heaven and something from a few decades ago ( while having modern accoutrements). The room had an en suite whirlpool jacuzzi big enough to fit two, as did the shower which even had dual shower heads and controls for them. It was a very relaxing stay we had, and the neighborhood was quite walkable to explore for eating and shopping. The breakfasts were slightly on the lighter side, however the fresh home baked muffins were delicious as was the fresh cut fruit. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a lovely stay, Ann was a great host! The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets and our room had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Margo was so sweet and welcoming!! It was right in the perfect area for the best restraints, zoo, safari and sea world! Everything was so close and she had the cutest dog and tortoise! Would highly recommend!!
