Monthly Rentals in Thornton-le-Clay

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at the cottage and felt like we were in a high end hotel. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfortable. The Molten Brown products was a bonus and it felt like Elley had really taken the time to consider what we and our dog needed. We really appreciated how dog friendly it was and that we had use of the paddock for our greyhound. There were also plenty of good walks right on our doorstep. Although we were right next door to Elley and her family we still felt we had privacy. We would heartily recommend to anyone and would love to visit again.

Simply wonderful : we can not think of a single thing that was not 100%, everything exceeded our expectations. Definitely not a soulless corporate run Airbnb! The interior design was outstanding and individual without being overpowering, adding to the sense of calm that the location gives. Super clean throughout. Oh and the bedding, it was out of this world. Everything we needed was provided, the log burner a joy in the chillier evenings. Great walks and the bus stop is directly opposite (every 3 hours, check the timetable, the drivers don’t linger) into York.
