The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a small double bed & wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

In the rural village of Sheriff Hutton, located just 20 minutes north of York and less than 1 hr from beach. Free parking. Your shepherd's hut is set in the enclosed, inner courtyard of the C14th castle ruins, your own private space. Atmospheric and perfect for relaxing, enjoying a quiet drink in the evening in front of the fire pit & gazing at a starry sky or the impressive ruins.
