Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Welcome to La Libellule The apartment has a large terrace for outdoor dining and bbqs or just relaxing on the sofa watching the beautiful sunsets, The terrace has panoramic views over the Dordogne countryside. It’s so peaceful and tranquil, the perfect place to re connect with nature, but at the same time a great place for the whole family with the pool and grounds for you to explore. The village is only a 15min walk with a football pitch, basket ball court, table tennis and play park.

In this cozy and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, it is wonderful to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in the summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already waiting for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. We would be happy to welcome you to our "truffle cottage", in the quiet countryside of the Périgord Vert, classified ** *, with stunning views of the green hills . The accommodation is located 1.5 km from the Nantheuil body of water and its beach, 3 km from Thiviers. The cottage includes a bedroom with a 140 double bed and a bedroom , with either 2 90 beds or a 140 bed. We do not accept more than 4 people, possibly 1 small animal. The bed and towels provided.
