House vacation rentals in Texas

The house was PERFECT for our graduation celebration with family and friends. All of the amenities were spot on - including the pool and hot tub, the size of the property with all of the trees, and the large kitchen, long island and spacious dining room. We were blessed with a beautiful orange sunset off the back of the deck which was the icing on the cake. I would definitely rent this house again.

If I could give this place a 10, I would! This is the second place we stayed at owned by William and Barbara. It is very close to excellent waterfront restaurants and shops. The peaceful quiet lake, with ducks, herons, turtles and birds is a perfect setting. This home was immaculate, and well equipped. The owners were communicative, and accommodating. They even left us a bottle of Champagne for our Anniversary. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a great time. The view from the back porch is breathtaking! We could see Stillhouse Lake from the back porch and the hot tub. The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely come back.

The river is beautiful! Can spend all day walking down it and watching the fish and large variety of birds! A really great spot for skipping rocks and just enjoying nature!

Brian was very accomodating and offered a great place for us to stay. It was a stress-free week at the lake with a wonderful view. The weather was great, so we got to use the roll up door during the day which made the place very unique and enjoyable. We will be booking this house again in the future and recommending it for anyone wanting a great stay on the lake!

Darla’s place was immaculate & one of the best airbnb’s i’ve ever stayed at! Truly a refreshing and relaxing experience. She even let me know when the place was ready to check in (a little early) which I thought was thoughtful. Everything was so modern, clutter free, but so cozy and made me feel right at home. There was beautiful window light but also appreciated the dark curtains for nighttime. The hot tub and bathtub were great to unwind and relax. She even had bath salts for sore muscles and sleepy time. She also had a pitcher of cold water in the fridge which is a small but sweet gesture along with snacks and a sweet welcome note. Everything about this place was PERFECT. The location was private and so peaceful and quiet. I have recommended this place so many times and will continue to! Thank you for EVERYTHING! If you come across this place, BOOK IT!

We had a wonderful time at the magical forest. It was a good getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Everything was just as described. We lit a fire and enjoyed chatting out on the deck overlooking the water. I flipped the canoe the first day we were there and had everyone rolling. At the time I didn’t think it was so funny. The water was a bit cold at first! I enjoyed the feeding the fish and just the peace and quiet of it all. We walked the trails and swam in the pool. I noticed that there was wedding arbor which looked like a great spot for a country wedding. AC kept it nice and cool and the WiFi was very strong. Plenty of stuff to watch and steaming services to use when you want to relax and watch something. We loved the high ceilings and windows overlooking the water and the morning sun shining through. This is a great place to get away and Aimee was a great host. She was quick to respond the few times we had questions. Loved our trip to Magical Forest!

This was the perfect getaway to unwind from the chaos and pressures of life! We truly enjoyed our stay, and the weather was perfect. We spent a large bulk of the time at the property watching the birds and deer, drinking wine outside with a great book, soaking in the outdoor tub, and walking the property with our dog. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we found it more than adequate to cook dinner each night. Although there was no TV, we appreciated the opportunity to just disconnect. Linda was a fantastic host; the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the house was spotless. We can't wait to visit again soon!!

Nice cabin with very beautiful surroundings. Also recommend the horse riding there!

Prime location and the house is very thoughtfully arranged by Shin. The lake as easily accessible and fun to swim in. Kayaks were fun to use. Netted Patio was relaxing to sit during evening and night hours without mosquitoes or bugs. Would surely visit back.

What a great place!! The backyard was amazing and we enjoyed the pool!! Close to just about everything you would want. Robert is a great host and communicated well with us!! Highly recommend this place! We’ll be back!

This was our sixth stay at one of Cheryl’s river houses, and it was just as wonderful as always! Peaceful mornings on the back porch, watching the wildlife, were the perfect escape. My girls had a blast fishing, and I was able to hop on a Zoom meeting with no Wi-Fi issues at all. We never miss a stop at Jo Momma’s—great burgers and under 10 minutes away. Dinner at TJ’s @ The Old Forge in Bandera was delicious (the white gravy is a must!), and Out of the Way Café remains a favorite. Their breakfasts are amazing, and I’m hooked on the chicken tenders and sandwich. Can’t wait for visit #7!

Amazing place, will definitely have to visit again in the future

We had a great stay, the pool was amazing, kids had a blast… and the boys even caught some fish!

This cottage was perfect for a couple’s getaway - loved proximity to Cameron park and hiking there. Also loved how close it was to downtown Waco and how easy it was to bike or drive to downtown. Definitely recommend staying here.

We loved Bills home. The Unit was wonderful, clean, spacious, awesome decor, great lighting. The Pool and area was spa like, exactly what we wanted, but more. Bill was very friendly, very responsive. We had a great experience and will be back for sure. Thank you!

Such a nice place. Extremely comfortable, superb location (Wimberley is so cute). Sally was a great host, very understanding when our situation changed (cancelled and rearranged flights). I don’t believe visits from local deer alway happen. Anyone visiting MUST go to the Blue Hole for a swim - soooo good.

My wife and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and this place was a perfect get away for our special occasion!

Mary and Ken’s wildlife ranch is hands-down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It’s private, serene, perfectly situated in hill country, just outside of Fredericksburg. The home itself has everything you need and is the best stocked Airbnb I have ever encountered. The wildlife was amazing… we easily counted over 60 wild deer each day coming and going, as well as wild hog, turkey, and many birds. As an Airbnb host this is the level of hosting I strive for… they have thought of everything and ensure that you are well looked after; they are kind and generous hosts. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for a getaway away from the crowd, but close enough to go to town if you want to.

Beautiful, stress free and a little slice of heaven. Free of noise and all peace and quiet. Barely any light pollution at night, you can see the Milky Way and millions of other stars. Wildlife was amazing and definitely what you would expect in Hill County. If you want a central Texas feel this it. We’ll be back for sure!
