Lake house vacation rentals in Texas

We had a wonderful stay at Lake ‘O the Pines! We could have asked for a better Airbnb or a kinder host. My son and I took one of the awesome kayaks down to the lake…and then couldn’t get it back up the hill….and the host told us not to worry and that her husband would take care of it! 😅 So kind! Thank you for a great stay!

We love the Blue Heron. Thank you, Tim and Kathy! The house was beautiful, clean and very well equipped…especially the kitchen. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The location was perfect for us….a place for my family to gather close to the location of my daughter’s wedding. But even without the wedding, it was a perfect place to relax and visit with the whole family. We felt very at home. Highly recommend!

We loved this place. The view of the lake is so peaceful. The house is perfect in every way. My best Airbnb experience ever. The host, George, is a good guy enjoyed our visit and he responded to all messages and text asap.

We had a great time at this location! Terri was great to work with and we truly enjoyed the openness outside with lake views. It rained our last day but there was plenty of space for us to play pool and games in the garage. I will book again!

The house was amazing for our fishing group. The outside pavilion was perfect for lounging around watching TV and cooking. It was awesome to be able to tie up our boats to the boat dock and fishing was great on that side of the lake. Kendell was an awesome host. This looks like our new annual guy's fishing house.

My wife and I along with another couple were thoroughly satisfied with!!! We would return! Other than going out for breakfast at the quaint and charming The Roost” in Eustace we did all our meals on the grill and/or kitchen. TV worked great! Everything was as good or even exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this place for quite relaxing.

Beautiful place, would definitely stay again. And the host communicated well the expectations. With the recent rain Brownwood had, they let us know the boat dock was still usable, but some of the path to the dock had standing water to walk through. They were more than willing to reschedule our stay if it wasn't going to meet our expectations.

This place was great and exactly as how it was in the pictures. We were there for a 4 day weekend fishing trip with a group of 5 and the place accomodated us very well. Clean beds, big open living room and kitchen and nice dock. The owner was very responsive and notified us of the dock having electrical issues. I asked if they could run extension cords down to the dock because we had rented out some fishing boats and needed them charged. They accommodated the request and fixed the electrical short the next day. We enjoyed the place and had a great fishing trip.

Everything they said it was, was. It was quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. A brighter light in the kitchen area would been nicer but that could have been because of the weather. Sometimes rainy weather makes lighting more dull. Otherwise, we loved the property, the seating on the dock/firepit.

We made some amazing memories at the Quiet Cove! Having access to kayaks, paddle board , and fishing from the dock made our stay so much fun. We ended each day around the fire out on the porch with a guitar, diving with the family. The house is super well stocked which made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s home, not just a rental. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Loved the stay! Very easy to find and great parking which was great because we carried a boat with us. She introduced herself and answered anytime we had questions on anything! Future stay will be in our plans!

Excellent stay! Even thouhj the lake is dry, we had a blast exploring the dry lake bed and just lounging around the house. The hosts were wonderful - quick to respond and so accommodating! Great spot for our 3 families for a long weekend.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tim’s place. Our first impression was the house being spotlessly clean, very modern vibes, lots of sunshine and the smell of a new house! We also appreciate being provided with plenty of kitchen supplies, bath towels, and even all the necessities for water activities like life jackets, kayak paddles, etc. Deers were roaming around everywhere in the neighborhood & very friendly! However, the lake nearby the house has been going through a long period of severe drought so you may need to expect a much longer walk to finally see some water but it’s super muddy and not accessible at all either for swimming or fishing. We picked the place based on the expectation of 3-min walk to the lake where there would be swimmable clear water and found that somewhat disappointed — even though we understand by no means Tim could have controlled the weather and water level at all. There just wasn’t really anything else to do in the area without the lake being accessible.

Stayed here for a relaxing weekend away and it was perfect. Close enough to everything but very serene! The house has so much charm and we loved the screened in patio and wildlife watching. Pamela was super helpful with any questions. We will definitely be back!!!

We loved our stay at this lovely lake side home! It was the perfect little getaway to spend Easter with our family. The guys really enjoyed going out in the kayak and paddle board provided and we all moved the hot tub! Would absolutely return.

We always enjoy our time at the Lake House on Sleepy Hallow. We enjoy the peaceful surroundings, fishing off the dock, and relaxing beds and living room. We love San Angelo and were so close to restaurants and attractions. This was a perfect Spring Break spot. So thankful for the host and their hospitality. Can’t wait to stay again.

Great place for a fishing getaway, awesome place

This house was so charming and homey! A fantastic space to unwind with family. I appreciated the higher-end furniture. The house was clean and the decor was wonderful. The house could use some updating… But that was not a problem for us because I loved the character. We loved being near the water and my family enjoyed the fishing. Nice quiet neighborhood ...we felt safe and enjoyed walking the dogs. We will be back for sure!

Lia was quick to respond. The house is newly renovated, clean, and room for 8 to sleep and chill. Beautiful lake access in a nice quiet, mature neighborhood.

Great place to stay! Beautiful view and updated house plenty of room to spread out! 3 bathrooms a bonus. Lots of steps down to the water and lots of rules and things to do to check out but overall a wonderful place to stay!

It was great better than the pictures the weather was nice and sunny the water was amazing but at night there was a bad storm but it was nice I would go again

We are repeat visitors! The home is comfortable, clean, and offers ample space for our family. It’s perfect for us as we have family in the neighborhood and love to stay here for holidays or gatherings. There is a pretty back deck view, and the home has everything we need! We appreciate Veronica’s friendly and quick communication!

Kelsey was a great host, very responsive and helpful. I had issues with check-in and the hot tub due to power outages from a storm, but she helped right away and even stopped by the property to fix things.

This place is a beautiful location. The house is great for a large family to enjoy the outdoors. Host were great and very helpful.
