We had a fabulous stay at The Treehouse. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. It was private and peaceful. The layout was perfect for our family and we had plenty of space. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We would love to stay again when visiting Lake Livingston.

CABIN in Woods, Pet Friendly, Accessible

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing time on our 5th wedding anniversary (traditional theme is wood), surrounded by the woods. It’s a very special place, nestled in the piney woods. There was almost as many things to look at in the cabin, with all the art, as there was outside. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. We’ll have to bring our kiddo next time for the awesome loft!

Hobbit Treehouse w/Waterfall on the River! 350acre

JuniorRating, 5 stars5 months ago
An awesome experience like none other, we were there celebrating our twins 16th birthday and to say they loved it is an understatement! Lots to do from hiking, swimming in the Brazos, axe throwing, feeding animals to creating figurines and painting rocks. Lots to do, relax in the hot tub after activities but lots to do, Bill, Linda and Trista have lots to offer out here! We hope to be back in the future and experience their place again! Thanks Bill, Linda, and Trista!

2nd bedroom, Charming country home

LishaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My granddaughter and I had an absolutely wonderful 1-night stay in Rebecca’s home. The photos listed don’t do it justice. The house is decorated so thoughtfully with many interesting vintage items. I enjoyed discussing some of the pieces with my granddaughter, as they brought back wonderful childhood memories. We felt like we were in a very cozy, welcoming environment. The shared living area and kitchen were equipped with anything we might need, and Rebecca was available if we had any questions. The yard is large with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside location, yet still only minutes from South Tyler. We especially enjoyed the screened-in treehouse! Bathrooms were well-appointed and extremely clean, with plenty of fresh towels. The beds were comfortable and layered in soft linens. We slept very well. Rebecca prepared a delicious country breakfast, including fresh yard eggs and homemade biscuits to die for! Great hosts and a wonderful overall experience

Jeff’s Treehouse was above what we thought when we booked it. The treehouse was very clean and had everything you could need there. Amazing scenery out of the large windows and of the back porch. Tons of spots to fish off the deck. Spent most of the time on the kayaks and canoe. Jeff also took us out on a ride in his boat around the lake with amazing views. Definitely will visit again

Mid-Centree

KaciRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This tree house getaway was perfect for our anniversary. Nestled in the forest in a very secluded area that provided absolute solitude. Michael decorated the place beautifully and utilized the small space to the max. The drive to Leander is about 20 mins but it’s a beautiful scenic route. Make sure you have everything you need before heading back to the tree house. There aren’t very many places to pick up necessities outside of Leander. Austin is about 45 minutes away, but worth the day trip. We had an amazing time and definitely looking forward to returning again!

We stayed at the tree house for 2 nights during our road trip through Texas. As Europeans, we didn’t know what to expect but we fell in love with the place!!! Super comfortable, quiet, clean and once in a lifetime experience! Even the outdoor shower has super hot water and provided with extra towels! It truly was an amazing stay and we felt we were one with nature. The closest town is Bastrop and we loved visiting! Can’t recommend this enough

Treehouse in Gruene at River Haven w/Hot Tub!

WendyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Kathleen and Greg are wonderful hosts. They were proactive and checked in with us to make sure we had everything that we needed and that everything was as it should be. The hot tub was a joy to sit in after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. We loved the three cats that live outside on the property. They were always there to greet us in the morning and in the evening when we returned home. The neighborhood is very peaceful - I enjoyed walking in the neighborhood in the mornings. I would highly recommend this lovely treehouse and will definitely stay there if I come back to Gruene.

All of the rustic details inside the treehouse really made us feel contently lost in the woods. We didn’t want to leave! The host was very accommodating, responsive and even made sure to build us a fire before leaving us. We’ll definitely be back to explore the area soon.”

Tranquil Lakefront Treehouse

KyleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Joe and his wife were the best hosts. They were fantastic with my boys and Joe even helped us catch some fish on the dock. Overall better experience than advertised. Gave us great recommendations and even made us breakfast one morning. This was our first boys trip with my young ones and they made it a lasting memory. Also the house is really cool. Great place for a fun, relaxing, and peaceful getaway.
