Our stay at Alderneuk Fishery lodge was wonderful- it’s located in very picturesque & serene yet accessible & walkable area, and accommodation is very cosy, with all necessary amenities. The hosts were more than welcoming and hospitable, giving us privacy yet always available and kind to us.

Loved the place - super clean, check in was easy, in a remote but walkable area that you could walk down between fields and see sheep/cows. Could drive to a local farm shop 2 mins away or to the town in 10. 20 mins from the beach and 1 hour from Galloway forest. Really loved our stay :) Hayley was great, super responsive.

If you value peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings, do not hesitate to visit this place. I definitely recommend it, the house is equipped with everything you need, spotlessly clean, drinking coffee in the garden you can admire the walking deer, you really don't need anything more to relax .
