Airlies Farm Cottage

DaveRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An exceptional Airbnb. Gina is a great host and the attention to detail at the property is second to none. A real home from home. The views from the property are wonderful. The property is remote, but with that, you get peace and quiet and there is an amazing amount of countryside and coastline to explore nearby. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Cottage with views over the Firth of Clyde

We loved this beautiful cottage. The setting, views and space itself are stunning. It’s peaceful and we loved the fact it’s at the heart of a working farm. The cows and sheep were adorable.

Glenview Cottage, a beautiful rural retreat

RuthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sheila’s place was lovely. Everything was thoughtfully laid out, extremely comfortable and welcoming. Sheila herself, was so warm and welcoming, very genuine and generous with her time so we could settle in easily and know where to get a meal in the evening. The breakfast was great, especially Sheila’s own home cooked bread. Thank you again Sheila and we are so looking forward to a return visit.

Shepherd's Hut Spa

Wow - what a magical place to stay. Daniel has created a beautiful get-away, and so close to the beach. We were amazed at the craft that has gone into making the shephard's hut, hot tub and sauna, and the garden room! Hot tub: We enjoyed our prosecco in the hot tub which was great. The tub has colour changing lights and got nice and hot. It was quite dark and stormy when we went in which only added to the experience! We just kept saying "wow." Lovely white towel robes too. Sauna: Sauna was fab and heated up very quickly. Cold shower close by to cool down with. Garden room: lovely little chill out area. Little hang drum, a guitar (bottom string missing), ukulele and a cool darts board which was great fun (dart plastic a bit worn) but nonetheless great fun. Shephards hut: very cosy, comfy bed and great nights sleep. Bathroom clean and great smelling soap. Area: relaxed, and local JJ's chippy was excellent and had great food at Paul Jones restaurant. Lots of shells on the beach

Nordlys Cottage in Galloway Dark Sky Forest Park

KadyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Honestly one of the nicest Airbnb's I've stayed in - would 100% recommend booking. The cottage itself is gorgeous with everything you could possibly need for a week away, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen (even an air fryer) and lovely peaceful garden/surroundings. I felt right at home and did not want to leave! It's in a great area with lots to do, whether you like sight seeing, hiking or days at the beach. I will definitely be looking to book here again in the future!

'The Posh Puffin'

TammyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely time staying at The Posh Puffin with our 2 dogs. The cabin was in peaceful surroundings but Dumfries town centre was a short 15 minute drive away. WiFi helped keep us connected and the cabin had all the amenities we needed for a short stay 😊

Laurel Cottage, Moffat.

MicheleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An absolute gem! We stay in holiday accommodation several times a year and this was one of the best equipped cottages we've ever stayed in. The little house feels cosy yet has plenty of room and is beautifully furnished. The views are wonderful and its garden and patio are really pretty. The little touches of nice toiletries in the bathroom, and a lovely welcome pack including sourdough bread, jam, butter and milk in the fridge just made it special. We were greeted on arrival and Steve also offered a second set of keys which is so useful. This one definitely goes on the 'keep' list!
