Cottage vacation rentals in Temecula

We have stayed in this community many MANY times. I will say this.... You can't beat the location! The views and accessability to the beach, pool, parking was phenomenal! The beach toys and extra fans were great! The artwork in the unit was awesome and the owners brought a new table for the patio that was really nice! On the other hand.... this not the most updated condo, not the best equipt kitchen, and not the comfiest beds we have ever had in this community. For the extra money we would likely choose another unit next time.

Thank you for a great stay, kids had a blast playing outside. It was nice to be away from the city. We went on the morning hike. Property has 3 rentals, would love to come back and stay with some friends.

The location was beautiful! The kids had fun visiting and feeding the farm animals. The glass (chickens) were very kind and provided us with delicious eggs. The host cared about our comfort and went out of their way to respond to our questions and needs. Being able to enjoy fresh citrus every day was a great plus!

Great house with all the necessities for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. North coast village was convenient and centrally located for our trips to San Diego, LEGOLAND, Temecula and Zoo safari park. We loved being close to the beach and appreciated the beach gear and towels that were provided.

It is difficult for me to capture exactly how ideal the Casita was for me, my husband, and our doggo on a recent trip for my beloved father's celebration of life. We had the grounds with the wild inhabitants (birds, coyote, butterflies) and the fruit trees to remind us the abundance of life, and the stars & moon with their timeless beauty to make us feel small & connected to the larger universe. Amy & Frank were welcoming, encouraged us to feel at home and were available whenever we had questions or needed anything. Their suggestions for restaurants & markets in quaint Fallbrook were spot on, but we also made good use of the fully equipped kitchen in the Casita. The peaceful, rural environment was welcome after driving around ScCal and visiting with family and friends. Walking the trails at sunset and smelling the eucalyptus was good medicine for me during an emotional time. If you believe places can hold us and keep us centered, I can tell you this one did for me.

Elizabeth is my all-time favorite host!! She’s very accommodating, replies quickly and is just the sweetest person. I highly recommend her place!

Deanna was such an amazing host and her property was so stunning and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience/ stay with Deanna. Not only was her communication amazing but the property was in the perfect location and comfortable in an unparalleled way I haven’t experienced before with an Airbnb stay. I will absolutely be staying here again, already planning my next visit. Thank you SO much for everything Deanna!

Check-in and stay were easy and we appreciated the designated parking space for our quick 2-night stay with our pup. This is out of the host’s control, but we did have some noises that kept us up a bit at night with the heating unit and potentially some critter walking around on roof. Those things are likely solvable with white noise machine.

Place was great. Loved the oranges.

I took my daughter for a Mother/Daughter Easter get away. This was a last minute decision. We wanted a cute cottage in the middle of nowhere to decompress from our busy work and school life. Hummingbird Lodge was perfect! It was more secluded than we expected and more beautiful. We loved it!

Having stayed at both the upper and lower unit of this residence, I can say that both are pristine. The property is private with a hot tub, a gazebo, a BBQ, and a great are for views on the beach. Both times the property was in great condition and very well maintained. Ray was very helpful with check in, and even offered adjustments that made the stay more remarkable. If you’re looking to stay at a location that you can spend all day at, or be within walking distance to downtown Oceanside, this is the place for you. You won’t regret it!

This was our 2nd time staying at the cottage! Debi was extremely flexible with our check in/out times which was very much appreciated! My wife fell in love with the chicken noises on the 1st visit, which resulted in getting chickens of our own.. Cali (the dog) is as sweet as ever.. The other 2 dogs were a little more "protective" of their turf. Grounds are as peaceful as ever.. Just a wonderful little getaway location, if you love nature, animals and a rural setting. A big thanks to David & Veronika for letting us stay at their beautiful place! My gf and I were there for my 50th bday. We wanted to visit Temecula, wine taste, horseback and visit all the great eateries, including the casino. It was our 1st time visiting Temecula. Well let me tell you! Not only was it a beautiful cozy private place, but the views were amazing, including the hot air balloons in the am. David & Veronikas place is very very near great wineries and old town, not to mention the casino. We will be back. Would also like to mention we loved listening to the owls, and nature late night. Kira took me in after I lost my home in the Eaton fires. Her kindness and empathy has made a stressful and difficult time easier to navigate. She has such a beautiful energy. Her magical home is a healing sanctuary. A place that not only could I feel safe and begin the healing process, but one that is so visually stimulating and creative that by being in the space and outdoor surroundings, you feel you can take on anything in the world. She has poured so much love into her home and the design of her yard that you can't help but feel enveloped by it. The nature surrounding the area is so grounding. Kira's place truly is a magical wonderland.

Such a lovely home with a beautiful and convenient location! I personally loved the charming decor, heated bathrooms, backyard and the big kitchen! Plus, it’s only a few minutes away from the beach, tons of restaurants, cafes and cute shops so you never run out of things to do. If you ever need anything, Judy is very responsive and helpful.

Lauri's house was a delight to stay in. my family and I were so happy the entire stay. The home is peaceful, private, walkable, and has access to phenomenal restaurants from formal to relaxed and kid friendly. and the beaches are stunning. We hope to stay again some day.

Great location! Wineries were not too far and the area was peaceful. The place was clean and just as described. I will be back.

Really can’t say enough about this wonderful cottage that we stayed at. The cottage itself is extremely well kept. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and enjoy. The location of the cottage couldn’t be better. A two minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk into downtown Carlsbad. Our host was extremely kind and responsive, and we’re very appreciative of her and the hosting.

Our stay at the cottage was so peaceful! It was only 15 minutes to our wine tasting tour in Temecula. It was nice to feel like we were in a “home” instead of a hotel. It was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Everything was so smooth from the moment of reservation and communication to the time we left. Would definitely come back!
