Cottage vacation rentals in Temecula

Randy’s ranch-style guest house is close proximity to numerous wineries and is a wonderful option for a romantic weekend.

We have stayed in this community many MANY times. I will say this.... You can't beat the location! The views and accessability to the beach, pool, parking was phenomenal! The beach toys and extra fans were great! The artwork in the unit was awesome and the owners brought a new table for the patio that was really nice! On the other hand.... this not the most updated condo, not the best equipt kitchen, and not the comfiest beds we have ever had in this community. For the extra money we would likely choose another unit next time.

The cottage was amazing! Super clean, well taken care of and all around one of the best AirBnb’s we’ve been too. When we are back in Idyllwild, we will look to stay here again.

Place was really awesome when inside. Driving up from the outside you kind of get a weird feeling because you think it’s not what you expected. Once inside and in the backyard you know that it’s just what the pictures showed. Place was really spacious and entertaining for my family and I. The one thing that I would have loved is there’s one room that is attached to a bathroom that is locked from the entrance of the room and the bathroom that would have been awesome if it was available to us because the couch bed is a little old and not that comfortable. Other than that the pool, the slide and the jacuzzi were so much fun. One thing I suggest is maybe bringing your own pest spray because there are a lot of earwigs outside the house and in the house. Overall I would stay here in the future.

The location was beautiful! The kids had fun visiting and feeding the farm animals. The glass (chickens) were very kind and provided us with delicious eggs. The host cared about our comfort and went out of their way to respond to our questions and needs. Being able to enjoy fresh citrus every day was a great plus!

Thank you for a great stay, kids had a blast playing outside. It was nice to be away from the city. We went on the morning hike. Property has 3 rentals, would love to come back and stay with some friends.

Great house with all the necessities for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. North coast village was convenient and centrally located for our trips to San Diego, LEGOLAND, Temecula and Zoo safari park. We loved being close to the beach and appreciated the beach gear and towels that were provided.

It is difficult for me to capture exactly how ideal the Casita was for me, my husband, and our doggo on a recent trip for my beloved father's celebration of life. We had the grounds with the wild inhabitants (birds, coyote, butterflies) and the fruit trees to remind us the abundance of life, and the stars & moon with their timeless beauty to make us feel small & connected to the larger universe. Amy & Frank were welcoming, encouraged us to feel at home and were available whenever we had questions or needed anything. Their suggestions for restaurants & markets in quaint Fallbrook were spot on, but we also made good use of the fully equipped kitchen in the Casita. The peaceful, rural environment was welcome after driving around ScCal and visiting with family and friends. Walking the trails at sunset and smelling the eucalyptus was good medicine for me during an emotional time. If you believe places can hold us and keep us centered, I can tell you this one did for me.

The cottage was just as described, the perfect getaway for two couples or a small family. The house had a lot of small extras that we appreciated -- snacks, waters, spices and condiments, and the bathrooms had robes, lots of towels, makeup wipes and q-tips. The beds and linens were comfy and the window coverings kept things nice and dark in the sunny mornings. The cottage is one of three houses on the property, but everything is nicely spaced out providing ample privacy. The house is a quick drive to our favorite wineries and restaurants. The hosts were helpful and fast to respond to questions. We would book this property again!

Deanna was such an amazing host and her property was so stunning and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience/ stay with Deanna. Not only was her communication amazing but the property was in the perfect location and comfortable in an unparalleled way I haven’t experienced before with an Airbnb stay. I will absolutely be staying here again, already planning my next visit. Thank you SO much for everything Deanna!

I took my daughter for a Mother/Daughter Easter get away. This was a last minute decision. We wanted a cute cottage in the middle of nowhere to decompress from our busy work and school life. Hummingbird Lodge was perfect! It was more secluded than we expected and more beautiful. We loved it!

Having stayed at both the upper and lower unit of this residence, I can say that both are pristine. The property is private with a hot tub, a gazebo, a BBQ, and a great are for views on the beach. Both times the property was in great condition and very well maintained. Ray was very helpful with check in, and even offered adjustments that made the stay more remarkable. If you’re looking to stay at a location that you can spend all day at, or be within walking distance to downtown Oceanside, this is the place for you. You won’t regret it!

I stayed 2 days in July and it was super hot. The house was nice and the ranch was beautiful and clean. The owner was nice enough to let me throw my daughters first birthday there and I’m grateful. Highly recommend.

A big thanks to David & Veronika for letting us stay at their beautiful place! My gf and I were there for my 50th bday. We wanted to visit Temecula, wine taste, horseback and visit all the great eateries, including the casino. It was our 1st time visiting Temecula. Well let me tell you! Not only was it a beautiful cozy private place, but the views were amazing, including the hot air balloons in the am. David & Veronikas place is very very near great wineries and old town, not to mention the casino. We will be back. Would also like to mention we loved listening to the owls, and nature late night. Bob’s place is absolutely perfect for our family of 4! We had the best access to the beach, he had all the amenities for a fun beach trip, and the place was the perfect size. All of the accommodations fit all of our needs. So clean and cozy, we will definitely be back if Bob will have us! It’s a must stay.

Great location! Wineries were not too far and the area was peaceful. The place was clean and just as described. I will be back.

Really can’t say enough about this wonderful cottage that we stayed at. The cottage itself is extremely well kept. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and enjoy. The location of the cottage couldn’t be better. A two minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk into downtown Carlsbad. Our host was extremely kind and responsive, and we’re very appreciative of her and the hosting.

Our stay at the cottage was so peaceful! It was only 15 minutes to our wine tasting tour in Temecula. It was nice to feel like we were in a “home” instead of a hotel. It was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Everything was so smooth from the moment of reservation and communication to the time we left. Would definitely come back!

Perfect place for a couple for a weekend in nature! Booked Jaime's cottage for a wedding at the venue down the road and it was the ideal location. Looks just like the photos. Morning coffee on the back patio listening to the birds was a great break from city life!

This place is a gem and Alisha and Samuel were awesome! They responded less than a minute after I sent a message. There were a few hiccups during my stay in which they helped me through. I def will stay here again!
