An absolute gem!! My adult daughter and her hiking friend stayed here for 4 nights whilst hiking in the Nelson Lake area. They absolutely loved it. It was so cosy and lots of room for the 2 of them. So close to hiking areas, easy parking, easy to find. Washing machine was a bonus. Rachel and David could not have been more accommodating prior to booking, during booking and after booking. Jeremy’s place is a private, quiet hidden gem not far at all from bustling Auckland city. Suitable for a romantic getaway, the bathroom and spa are key factors in this… You must see it for yourself! The views of the rolling meadows during the day is great and even better at sunrise or sunset. Jeremy and Rae are fantastic hosts, very informative about the surrounding area and just super chill. Thank you so much J + R! You made my partner and I’s getaway that much more special.

Our second stay, just as amazing as the first! Lovely breakfast and extra touches. We were warm and snug through quite a stormy night.

Beautiful location the views are amazing. Take time to walk the trails. Walking up every morning to views of Piha was incredible. Easy to cook and be self contained. Loved it.

What a location, and a wonderful space! Tim greeted us, answered questions and even offered for us to use his washing machine to catch up dirty clothes accumulation with our new Zealand road trip, most welcoming. We will definitely use the great outdoor bath next time, a little too cold and wet weather for this time !

Such a beautiful spot! The cabin is simple but beautifully done. Loved the walks the owners have marked out and the friendly bird life. There’s some pretty frisky sandflies down by the river but they weren’t too much of a hassle up by the cabin itself. I actually did end up having cell coverage, albeit limited, but everything’s otherwise off the grid which was nice and helped disconnect from work. I got lucky and had gloriously sunny days, so no troubles with the solar hot water. Great stay! Could’ve happily stayed another day, which the owners have noted is a common piece of feedback they get and I can see why.

Was an amazing stay!

Such a relaxing, beautiful space - just like the photos. The bed was so comfortable and the house was warm. A well thought out space, decor and design is stand-up, with everything needed. We loved the private deck with views of the mountain. Having a spa bath and sauna just for is was a treat. Sam was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and is saved as a favourite. Thanks

The treehouse is an amazing little place to stay to get away and relax. So peaceful and charming. Joanna is a great host, very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Check-in was super smooth and the place was all set up for us when we arrived. The cabin was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed, really well set up. The hot pool was a definite highlight, perfect for a soak at the end of the day. 😍❤️ Such a peaceful spot to relax. Would totally come back 🥰🥰🥰

What an absolutely incredible find! 🤩 We wanted a cozy getaway from Auckland and I’m so so glad we found Hayley and Matt’s place! The tiny home is beautifully set up - it feels really spacious and homely, and had everything we need (including some lovely touches like homemade cookies and great coffee). The spa was so great to have access too, and despite being close to the main house everything was completely private and felt like our own little getaway. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Hannah’s place was great. Beautiful views and the town nearby had some amazing food options. The only thing I would say is that was the heater would time out in the middle of the night. No matter how long we set the timer so it would get pretty chilly. But other than that beautiful place!

The most amazing wee getaway with absolutely incredible views. A great place to unwind and recharge in the quiet. Would absolutely recommend a hot bath under the most incredible night sky of stars.

Yasmin's place is so peaceful and private, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our time here, being so close to the ocean with such incredible views! We'd be very happy to come back some day.

5 stars – Worth every dollar! Absolutely stunning stay. This gorgeous little space is tucked away in the heart of New Zealand’s breathtaking natural scenery — the perfect peaceful retreat. Everything was clean, cozy, and beautifully styled, with thoughtful touches throughout. Waking up to birdsong and being surrounded by nature made the experience unforgettable. Worth every dollar — we’ll definitely be back!

The Dome is a lovely and peaceful getaway and was a highlight on my road trip in NZL so far. Birds chirping, wind softly stroking the plants: exactly what you would expect from a more private & quiet accomodation to relax & calm down. It's really worth to get to the Dome before it is dark and to soak in the atmosphere in the lovely garden. If you are lucky with the weather, you might be greeted by a sky full of stars at night. I was greeted kindly and the instructions on how to get to the accomodation were very clear. Definitely recommendable!

Could not recommend this beautiful spot more — it’s cosy, peaceful, and just feels like home away from home. Chanel is a great communicator and gave easy to follow instructions well ahead of time. Place has all you can need and more, and the bath was glorious. Thank you again for having us — we can’t wait to come back soon!
