This home’s 180+ degree views encompass a wide sailboard and surfers beach, Wellington airport’s final-approach flight path (which is quiet) and the mouth of Wellington Harbor. Therefore it is fun, fascinating and fulfilling.

Loved our stay ! Grant (and Ollie) were super friendly and looked after us excellenly. We all ejoyed the pool and spa pool - especially the pool toys and sun lounges. The views were stunning and was the perfect county escape for our small family. Highly recommend staying here !

Grace was so accommodating with our request for a long term stay while we waited to move into our new home. Communication was excellent and the place had all the amenities of home. The location was a bit further out than we realized but it was was beautiful and peaceful. Would highly recommend to others

We had a wonderful stay at Shanti's place. The tent is super cozy and has everything you need to get a feeling of luxery while being outside in nature. The river that flows through her garden makes you calm down and the sun deck is perfect to just relax on. We slept like roses in the big comfortable bed and she even had bathrobes hanging which were nice and cozy after using the outdoor shower. Lots of things to do and see around the area to or to just have a coffee or drink. Definitely recommend this place! :)

Really lovely quiet location close to Hamilton. We arrived late and had to leave early so we didn’t manage to meet our hosts. Instructions were easy to follow.

One of our favorite places we stayed in our 2 week long New Zealand trip. The location is magical. Lots of room for 2 people. Lived meeting the doggo, chickens and looking over the vineyards. Thanks Andrew!

The stay was very pleasant and the quality of the lodging was excellent. We loved the location and the tranquil setting. We were immediately met with their wonderful pet dog, which we truly loved (which is amazing since we tend to be cat oriented). We plan to visit this lodging in future vacations.

Such a lovely stay. The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and stylish. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. We enjoyed Michael's archery session and Mia's amazing breakfast. The freshly baked bread was fabulous. And the lovely dog Hunter showed me around their beautiful garden!! We had a great time and it is actually the most pleasant accommodation we have ever stayed at in NZ.

We did not meet the hosts who were unexpectedly away and were redirected to Bird Cottage at no extra cost. Communication was great, the cottage ( a renovated old schoolhouse) was spacious,very peaceful, and had all the amenities we needed. Clean and comfortable and light breakfast provided. Beautiful outlook and a great spot to break a long journey

We had a fabulous stay at Ginie's quirky converted boathouse. The boathouse is right on the shores of the Lake with a small beach at the bottom of the garden. The highlight for us was paddleboarding from the house (excellent easy access) on a mirror-like lake surrounded by bird life, followed by relaxing in the spa. The accommodation was delightfully quirky and clean and Ginie had left us some delicious baked goods in the fridge. We were surprised at all the wee details... So carefully thought out. The hosts were very unintrusive, we wouldn't have known they were there other than a quick goodbye when we left. Thank you, we would love to come back!

We stayed here for a night to make a two day hike from St. Arnaud. It was the ideal starting point, only a few minutes drive to St. Arnaud. In the evening we were friendly to use the kitchen, and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty - including a very nice family atmosphere with the hosts and the current weeks.

Had a lovely stay with Carol and Geoff. They are very welcoming hosts and the bed is comfortable and the bedroom wonderfully quiet and dark. Such a treat to have fresh fruit from their garden too. Highly recommended!

I love this place; both Gary & Penny's sweeeet home and beautiful Taupo! Though weather wasn't good, warm hospitality made my honeymoon the best of best; Room was clean with dedicated bathroom & bedroom, a wonderfull shared spaces with everything. Surely it's better option to take Gary & Penny's home rather than other hotels nearby Taupo downtown. Wish all the best to Gary & Penny!!😍❤️👍👍👍

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.

A wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. Jacqui epitomises hospitality. Comms before hand and engagement while there was outstanding. Jacqui went above and beyond to meet our dietary requirements. Have left well rested and well fed.

Linda is a very friendly and welcoming person. The house has a wonderful harbour and bush outlook. The bedroom had a lovely ambiance. Personal touches with Candles in the bedroom and bathroom. We were there during cyclone Tam just recently so it created a peaceful atmosphere. We also had the most delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal. The breakfast table was set a beautifully. Thank you Linda 🥰

Beautiful place, very peaceful, surrounded by nature. I could only hear the birds and the wind. I'm pretty sure a Ruru visited me at night. Kyra is a great host, very responsive and friendly. we spontaneously decided to stay in the Havelock North region for one night and found Janes place on Airbnb. When we arrived, we were impressed by the location and view and enjoyed the calm and beautiful surrounding. the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and joyful stay.

Absolutely delightful place with privacy & close to shops & restaurants. Lovely decor, immaculate, comfy bed & nice selection of food for breakfast. Perfect size for a couple. Kim greeted me when I arrived & is very friendly. Highly recommended

Our stay at the Jacqueline’s “Salt Shed” was absolutely delightful. It’s an unusual setup with the caravan, the outdoor living space and the kitchen and bathroom in separate areas and it’s totally charming! We had lots of room and every day we discovered a new feature or cute decoration. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The bed was comfortable. Everything is spotless. The gardens are full of flowers and the views are amazing. Jacqueline is a gem, she made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t say enough. Highly recommend.
