Absolutely beautiful place with a gorgeous view of the river. The house is one of those places that makes you feel instantly at home. Sally is an epic host, super responsive and kind.

Mark’s AirBnB is an experience rather than a stay. Is a combination of coastal rural Nz right on the doorstep (short boat ride away) from a bustling town Raglan where there are 5 star restaurants, super markets and everything you would need or expect. And the accomodation itself is nestled on a cliff top with 180 views of the harbour and if Raglan. Private, the feeling of seclusion and neighbour free - the best of both worlds made better by a host that balances your needs with respectful distance. Make a pizza in the wood fired oven and then warm your bones in the spa boat and arching the harbour u til the sun melts away listening to birds evening song. We can’t wait to head back and hopefully catch the big uncle of the 12 lb snapper we caught in the raglan harbour!!! Outstanding place.

It was an absolute joy to be hosted at Mark's whare. It's a home away from home, well taken care of and well loved, but also very beautiful. The Decor is stunning and it was so easeful to stay for a week. We also forgot an important belonging, Mark went out of his way to make sure it was returned. Just a straight up good host.

What an absolutely stunning place. Beautifully located in nature, with a gorgeous little stream flowing through the garden. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped – everything you might need is there. Truly a fantastic spot. Hosts Scott and George are real superhosts – thoughtful and caring. Thank you for letting us enjoy your little paradise!

This accommodation was outstanding, the best airbnb we have stayed in. Location was perfect for our needs. Instructions were spot on and Joanne responded to communications extremely quickly. Everything we could want was at the accommodation including fully stocked tea, coffee, milk… and even some treats. The rooms were very spacious and the furniture very comfy and cool. Excellent 👌

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

We loved this place. Great living area for socialising, well equipped kitchen, showers had awesome water pressure, several lovely areas to sit outdoors. Perfect for our family get together with some of us staying onsite and others in the town centre. And later some items we'd left behind were returned to us which we were grateful for.

Great experience. Great place for family . Clean and convenient. Will go back again. Shame had to leave early due to predicted bad weather.

Fabulous host - clean apartment and very well stocked

We had a wonderful stay at Shelley’s place the house was exactly as described but even better inside than we expected. We loved having fresh eggs and bread on arrival along with fruit and lots of other goodies. Shelley was so helpful and kind our entire stay and always in touch immediately when we need to ask something. The location is only a 20 min walk into town along the beach or over the the hill depending on the tides. It’s a great place to stay to explore the Bay of Islands!

Great place to stay! Great area to explore and very nice to have a spacious place to come back to. Plenty of good amenities like laundry and espresso machine (2 most important things for us!). Very walkable to beach, local restaurants, hikes, other touristy stuff. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at Wayne and Jihee's place! The 30-minute drive from the city was a breeze, and the serene surroundings were the perfect retreat. Wayne went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, from meeting us in person to keeping in touch via text to ensure everything was smooth sailing. His responsiveness was impressive! He even accommodated our dietary preferences for breakfast, whipping up something light and delicious just for us. The bed was ridiculously comfy, and the cleanliness of the house was top-notch. We'd highly recommend staying here – thanks, Wayne and Jihee, for making our stay so special! 🙂🙂🙂🙂

We had a terrific stay at Shelley's apartment. We appreciated being a little out of town in a quiet area with great views. Th location is still within easy reach by car from anything that you would want to do around Rotorua but with more privacy and calm than a city accomodation. The apartment is great - all the furnishings and facilities are high quality. The two bedrooms are not large but roomy enough for two and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and there is a well appointed kitchen area - we had most of our meals in the apartment. Just like eating at home. Shelly is a great host - very friendly and responsive with communications. A very helpful person.

An absolutely wonderful Airbnb - one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The outside bathtub was an absolute highlight. Greta location to drive up to Abel Tasman for a day as well.

Mathew's place is truly special — from the fun 4x4 ride through a deer park to the cabin, to the stunning views, total privacy and the covered barbecue area. Just know that it’s quite off the grid, which adds to the charm but also means it’s a bit rustic — the space wasn’t spotless (some dead insects in the outdoor shower, beddings didn’t feel fresh), but it felt understandable given the remote location. The ride with Mathew was super fun (we stood on the back and held the rails!) but it was raining, so we arrived completely wet — not a problem as we had jackets but might not suit everyone. When we arrived it was foggy, so we didn’t see the view until the second evening — but when it cleared, it was absolutely worth it. We recommend coming once and staying put — we walked 45 minutes back to our car as we had some program in between, but it's a nice walk. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different who doesn't mind a bit of adventure.

Enjoyed a night away with my wife in this awesome cabin . Clean and tidy . Outdoor bath was perfect . Private space with lots of little add ons like muesli for breakfast , brownie and even bath salts . Corrie was helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend choosing this spot for a getaway from all the hustle and bustle !

Whhhhhat a place! The fire pit, the tub outside, the sunset over the hills, the comfortable bed and stunning bathroom with waterfall shower! Incredible place, saving for the future!

Rose was an amazing host, topped only by the wonderfully unique experience offered by her seaside cabin! It was a true escape from the mundane, requiring a short drive on unpaved paddocks to access, adding to its charm and authenticity. (When returning after dark, watch up for furry and featherly neighbours!) You are then greeted with a self contained tiny home nestled between Rose's well groomed farm and the untamed ocean. This is a truly secluded retreat with beautiful sunrises over the pacific, dancing birds, meditating goats and endlesdly soothing sounds of crashing waves. The cabin is well equipped with a mini kitchenette (no microwave), heating, luxurious bathroom and cosy bedroom with a beautiful view of the ocean, and external utilities including a fire pit, BBQ and even a canoe (we did not brave it). Rose was an amazing host, greeting us on arrival and teaching us how to access the cabin. Her Sunday only cafe, the Farmshop, is also highly recommended, especially the pizza!

The setting for this cabin is amazing - in a paddock on a working farm, overlooking the estuary and the changing tide. A great place to watch the sunset - especially being 5 mins from Raglan. The cabin itself has everything you need with a comfy bed, gas oven, kitchenette, and tidy bathroom. The deck is great place to sit and admire the view. Bonus to be able to bring our dog and enjoy a paddle in the kayaks provided.

What an amazing piece of paradise! Modern and immaculate with everything you need for a private, peaceful and relaxing break. We will be back for sure and can’t recommend Hereford Cottage highly enough.

Absolutely stunning! Would love to stay again. Leah and Jan were very prompt at replying and very flexible with our arrival as we chopped and changed our plans last minute. Google maps takes you right to the driveway and we had no problems driving up the gravel hill in a Hyundai i30. This place is GORGEOUS. The view from the cottage and the BBQ area is amazing. We had a full moon and sat out on the deck watching the moon, and listening to lots of kiwi’s nearby! During the day we sat and read our books in the sun. We also loved the bath and the pizza oven. They’ve thought of everything and pay a lot of attention to detail. I was impressed that not even the outdoor areas had any spider webs - so clean and tidy! The bed was very comfy and we had a wonderful sleep each night. Serene!
