Lovely quiet unit attached to main house in beautiful farm setting. Good space for 2 people, probably a little crowded for 3. Lesley was welcoming and showed us around the farm.

We loved our time here. Sharlene was helpful and we had no problems finding the house or while we were there The kitchen was supplied with so many extras including basic food items and cooking equipment etc. All the bedrooms were super comfortable and overall we felt totally at home. A special family time for us all. It rained the whole time we were there but we embraced the quiet and loved the bird life. A family of Tuis in the enormous Puriri tree kept us entertained! I would totally recommend to anyone.

Our family really loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and quiet… the house has homey feel and a hour drive from the beautiful beaches, we loved that the cows were right outside our fence, lots to enjoy! Thank you !

What an awesome place!. Exactly what we are looking for. So many walking activities at different areas in the farms. The place have a great view. The house is spotless. So clean, feel like home. Lindy and Rick are so kind , communicated easily, friendly couple and the dog Max is well mannered. Everyone in the family so happy. Thank you for having us!!

Lovely family, Gina and Scott are great hosts. The place was very homely and relaxing. Perfect place to stop overnight and recharge.

Super peaceful stay near Wainui Beach! It was a 5 minute walk to the local cafe and beautiful Wainui Beach. The accommodation was exactly like the photos. The place was beautifully clean and super cosy! We enjoyed seeing Sam’s 2 dogs each morning and our dog had fun exploring around the fruit trees. Sam was so friendly and helpful! Will recommend her place to anyone visiting Gizzy!

The Cottage was perfect after a tramping weekend. My friends and I were able to wash our damp clothes, hang them up to dry, have a fresh shower and feel right home quickly. We went to one of the lovely local wineries and back with indian take away, before a game of battle sticks in the garden and then a comfys nights sleep! it was great, thanks Duncan.

Tino ātaahua. It was just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of wellington. A good spot to disconnect and realign the hinengaro, wairua and tinana and connect with papatūānuku. If your one who needs to stay connected to the internet then this place is not for you. Mauri ora

A great place to centralise yourself in the Hawkes Bay to access the Vineyards and beach’s.

I've stayed in many air bnbs over the years but this one has to be my favourite of them all. John And Sue left so many personal touches. They were incredibly kind and accommodating and were absolutely lovely with our children as well. They showed us all around the farm and let the kids feed the animals which they loved. The space as well was incredible. So comfortable and relaxing with amazing views all around, and just a short drive to Raglan. Our only regret was not booking for longer.

What a super place to overnight on our journey. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, comfy bed, lovely linen and Charlotte even provided beds and blankets for our doggies. This was so thoughtful and there were further thoughtful touches and gestures. Fabulous shower too. The fully fenced enclosed garden was wonderful for the dogs and peace of mind for us. Beautiful and peaceful surrounds. Thank you, great experience.

Fantastic place to stay - incredibly clean and comfortable, and amazing view to boot. Carmel and Danny were great hosts. Really friendly and welcoming, even taking the time to walk us around the fruit trees and meet the animals. One of our best stays. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

We were looking for a getaway from Auckland and decided on Taupo. Though Taupo itself can be very busy with tourism, staying at the Cottage was the perfect solution. Private, quiet, peaceful but only 10-15 min drive from all the attractions in Taupo. The Cottage is very well equipped and was in outstanding condition. Maura is a fantastic host; friendly, responsive and very helpful. We even enjoyed the animals at the farm, with Moose the Cat visiting us on a daily basis. A great AirBnb experience, would definitely book again.

We loved staying here! The house was really clean, lots of towels for the bathroom and the kitchen. Plenty of cooking utensils and supplies. Great place!

Such a beautiful location with a great view and a large outdoor area to enjoy the evenings. I was happily surprised when I walked in as it was so much bigger than I expected from the photos! Super comfortable hotel quality bed and a good shower with rain head as well as luxury touches like remote control blinds you can open from in bed! The dishwasher was a real perk as it was nice not to have to wash up while on holiday. The extras of milk, cereal, butter and oil was nice to have available. I had a great stay and excellent communication and felt as though Sarah was there anytime I might need. Straight forward check-in and check-out too, although I did need the outdoor chair to unlock the door as I'm short haha. I would love to return. I expect it is perfect in Summer!

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay

Great house in the country close enough to Matamata without feeling distant. Clean and tidy space and perfect for animals and young kids. Had everything we needed for our stay.

Awesome stay, we absolutely loved it, just wished we had longer. The place was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding just around the corner. Lots of thoughtful little touches, that were really appreciated. Immaculately presented and felt immediately at home, awesome communication and appreciated the flexible arrival and departure time. If, like me, you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in quiet and beautiful surroundings, then this is YOUR place. Everything was perfect. And like amazing Kiwi hosts, milk in the fridge and friendly and helpful! The scenery is just beautiful here, the birdsong and river and trees…..what a place!

Great spot not far from the city for a get away. Nicely presented with some lovely little touches. Dip the pool was great.
