I’m sure many of you will be in need of a break away so …. if you are seeking a quiet and private space for your visit to beautiful Mount Maunganui then the recently renovated Beachside Retreat offers just that and more. The studio is perfect for quiet couples, solo travellers and business people. Safe and secure, the studio is bathed in morning and late afternoon sun so is cosy and warm. Heat pump for your comfort whatever the season. Beautiful Mount beach is just across the road. Beach gear available on request. Perfectly positioned to walk into town or stop along the way at some top cafes and restaurants. Back to the studio and you transition from the large deck through sliding glass doors to an interior that's designed for total relaxation. Refresh in a sparkling white bathroom and soak in a designer bathtub before bedtime. Kitchenette for tea and coffee making, microwave and small bar fridge. No cooktop. For your arrival there is a selection of NZ tea’s, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, milk and juice in the studio. On-site parking available for one car. Big screen smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual free to air streaming. Fast high speed unlimited WIFI. A five minute walk to Central Parade shops, Fife Lane Restaurant, Tay Street Cafe and Store, Bay Oval and Blake Park. Also a handy five minute drive to Bayfair and Baypark. Enhanced cleaning and sanitising between guests as per Air BnB guidelines. Parking available on site. We (Shirley & Jim) live upstairs with our small dog Louie. We are around if you need a hand, would like some breakfast, dinner or tourist tips. Otherwise, we will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The studio is on Marine Parade, directly opposite Mount Maunganui Beach. Blake Park, Bay Oval, and various shops and great cafes at Central Parade are about a 5-minute walk. It's a quick drive to the Mount, airport, Bayfair Shopping Centre and Trust Power Baypark. Just an hour drive will have you to Whakatane, Rotorua and Hobbiton. Check in and check out times may be adjusted to suit your travel arrangements on request. Luggage drop/storage also available on request.

Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life . Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . Suitable for wheelchair users . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We had the most comfortable of stays at Tui Glen. No other word than perfect can sum up our stay and interaction with Glendyr. It suited our needs to see relations in the area and to reach easily all our activities. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending a stay here. From hot tub, to swimming pool to bikes available for use, all was way beyond our expectations. Just wish we could have had more time available to use the amenities but we were busy visiting tourist attractions and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay Glendyr you have a gorgeous home and the photos do not do it justice. The accommodation is far bigger than we expected. Brilliant 🤩 stay Annette Martin Claire .

A great place to stay. Private, quiet and self contained cottage close to the beach at Coastlands. Michelle and Blue had many small touches inside which showed the care and pride they took in furnishing this accommodation. Bed was very comfortable and shower was large with excellent water pressure. The hosts were very obliging and flexible. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a beautiful peaceful setting. The lack of wifi and internet connection added to the restfulness. The spa pool was such a treat in the evenings. The outdoor shower provided a warm shower and was a unique experience. An absolutely lovely getaway, very closely situated to Palmerston North. Would absolutely recommend of you want a bit of an off-grid experience!

Perfect cozy home base for my day of visiting wineries in the area. Jacqueline was super nice and clearly so thoughtful and thorough in her setup of the tiny house. The Cottage was perfect after a tramping weekend. My friends and I were able to wash our damp clothes, hang them up to dry, have a fresh shower and feel right home quickly. We went to one of the lovely local wineries and back with indian take away, before a game of battle sticks in the garden and then a comfys nights sleep! it was great, thanks Duncan.
