Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Easy to find, stunning location, private, clean and tidy. Hosts were incredible, and always attentive and putting so much care and love into everything.

We are already planning a second visit to Julie and Dean’s place. The bach was so comfortable and clean and such an easy check in process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, or Havelock North, to others.

We can't speak highly enough about the place. It's a little haven where the atmosphere and surroundings almost force you to kick back and forget about [almost] everything and just enjoy. The surrounding areas compliment the accommodations, and the local people reflect the laid-back approach to life. With pristine beaches, great food from the local cafes and restaurants through to the weekend markets there is something for everyone here.

Nicollette’s place was the perfect getaway—serene, beautiful, and unbelievably peaceful. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and the whole space just had this calm, grounding energy. The house itself was clean and tidy, with super comfortable beds and a pristine kitchen that made us feel right at home. The spacious grounds were amazing to walk around, and in warmer weather, you could just throw down a towel or mat and read on the grass. Loved the little details too—plenty of fridge and freezer space, great WiFi, and even a lawn game to keep us entertained. Plus, Nicollette was an incredible host, super responsive to any random questions we had. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to unwind for a weekend.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It had everything you'd expect in a comfortable home, making us feel right at ease. The highlight was definitely the spa and the stunning lake view—especially when we caught a rainbow stretching across the water. Just breathtaking. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We spent 4 nights at Lewis & Charlotte’s place on Waiheke and couldn’t have asked for more. The property is superbly located, just a 5 minute walk from Oneroa village, and was a perfect base for us. The cottage itself is tastefully and comfortably furnished, with a genuinely enormous conservatory/covered outdoor atrium that meant we had tonnes of space regardless of the weather! Lewis and Charlotte are also A+ hosts, from helpful local tips and proactive communication to thoughtful little touches like popping around to turn on the lights when we were going to arrive after dark. Highly recommend this property for your next Waiheke trip!

Lovely character cottage. We felt very comfortable. The hot tub was great after a swim in the river. We even managed to fit in one of the puzzles provided 😊

This venue holds so many special memories for us. Even with the not-so-great weather over the long weekend, it was still the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy time with our loved ones. Huge thanks to Christina and David for sharing such a beautiful place!

I had a great stay here, the house was immaculate, and well stocked. An easy place to stay while enjoying the local activities in Waipu. Beautiful outlook and for a rural property felt like it wasn’t too far off the beaten track. Highly recommend :)

Very tranquil and private place to stay. Thanks heaps Paul for the homemade toast (my wee one enjoyed it so much). Close to Napier city (10mins drive) and lots of good restaurants within short drive distance. We walked our dog to the beach in the morning and everything was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay around Napier.

This beautiful cottage is an absolute gem of a find and far more beautiful than the pictures. Set in a very picturesque vineyard with incredible views of the mountains and surrounded by incredible rose bushes - I don’t know what else you could wish for. We felt right at home in the cottage which was well equipped and privately tucked away from the main house. We were told to help ourselves from the lemon and orange trees which we did. Bed and linen are extremely comfortable and cosy with a lovely view from the bed out onto the vineyard with the mountain in the background. The toilet is in an odd location but definitely not a dealbreaker - you can access it from the kitchen without leaving the cottage. Outside BBQ was a huge plus. We would return to this slice of paradise in a heartbeat, good for the soul!

Sally-Ann’s place is really a home away from home. The whole cottage is very cozy and comfortable, and amenities are provided which makes the stay really comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back if we visit Taupo again.

Lovely, warm wee cottage - the log burner was very welcome on the cold nights. Clean, tidy and well-equipped. Backyard is fully fenced which is great if you have young children or a dog.

We adored our stay! The cottage was pristine. The location is great. It is right across a quiet stretch of beach and walking distance from a great playground. It is very close to the airport but recent upgrades meant we couldn't hear the planes from inside the house. Our little one was obsessed with watching the planes take off. What really set this place apart was how thoughtful and kind the hosts were. We have a baby and toddler and the hosts brought toys for the kids to play with. The kids had the best time!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this peaceful farmhouse cottage. The tranquillity of the surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The thoughtful touches—like fresh eggs, bacon, and bread for breakfast—were so appreciated and made us feel right at home. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the whole place had such a warm, homely feel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing countryside retreat.

The cottage was snug and clean, while Jane and Jeremy were lovely and responsive. We made heaps of use of the wood burner and there was a good store of firewood, and Jeremy gave us plenty of ideas for where to go walking. We also loved all the figs and apples - they even encouraged us to take some home with us. All in all, it was a wonderful getaway and such a peaceful time for the two of us. It wasn't as private as we expected (the cottage is only a lawn away from the main house), but that's likely due to us misreading the description. It was still quiet and restful.

Lovely peaceful, rural cottage. The beds were super comfy and it was lovely sitting out on the verandah watching 'cow TV' in tge evening with the very friendly and wekk behaved dogs for company. The host Claire was very helpful abd responsive to messages too. Would definitely stay again

We loved our stay at the cottage - the perfect place for our family to relax and unwind. It is peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. The cottage is warm and well equipped, the bed super comfy and I loved the outdoor shower. All is exactly as described. We hope to come back!

We spent a wonderful long weekend in Shona's cute little cottage! The surrounding landscapes were gorgeous, we were visited but a lot of lovely birds. From the little fireplace to the outdoor bath with a view, recommended takeaway pizza, cute memorabilia and privacy and quiet of the place, I got everything I needed from this weekend away before our baby comes. we even took some beautiful maternity photos around the garden! Thank you Shona for this little slice of heaven :)

Stayed here for a friends wedding at St George’s restaurant and it was the perfect location 😊 beautiful surroundings and super clean and well set up inside.
