Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Tahoe Vista

We were in town looking for housing and needed someplace to rest peacefully and keep our gear locked up. We felt safe and at home during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful stay with Amanda. Communication was great and the place was easy to find and well stocked and very comfortable. We would stay again next ski season when we make our plans.

The house was amazing and we were so happy with our stay! I would forsure recommend this place to anyone who is heading to reno for a few days.

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This home was beautiful and spacious! We stayed here for a short weekend trip and the house was quite big and very clean. Host provided so many amenities that I haven’t seen at other air bnb’s that we’ve stayed at. This is a new neighborhood and it felt very safe and we felt right at home. This is a great place to stay that’s in the middle between Reno and Lake Tahoe as it’s about 25-35 minute to each so it’s great if you don’t want to pay Tahoe or Reno prices but still get a high quality air bnb. The check in and out instructions were very clear I didn’t really have any questions. 10/10 I would recommend to stay here!

By the time we checked into the Airbnb it was dark outside which made it a little harder to find the location. The Airbnb is in a quiet and clean part of Reno, with dining close by.

I absolutely loved Robert’s place. The apartment was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. Robert communicated very well on all aspects of our reservation. We will definitely be booking again next year and hopefully years to come. Robert…thank you. I hope you’re as thrilled with us as renters as we are with you and your property.

This Airbnb has a great location in South Lake Tahoe. 5 min driving to Heavenly Ski Resort, 1 min driving to Whole Foods, 1 min driving to laundry, 5 min driving to Heavenly Village. Nice 15 min walk to the Marina. It had everything we needed and great backyard. April was nice, helpful and flexible. We had a great stay! 🍀✨

Super cozy small place. It was perfect for me and my 2 friends! Great location, we liked checking out the dock on the lake on the first night. Also was really well maintained and clean place!! We kind of didn’t realize that there isn’t a true stovetop (there’s an electric stovetop thing you plug in). Would probably recommend just eating out if you stay here but we’d already grabbed groceries and planned on cooking and it worked out okay! Overall a very cozy weekend stay!

I booked this Airbnb for my parents and aunts, and they absolutely loved their stay! The location was perfect-close to everything they needed. The amenities were fabulous and made their stay really comfortable and enjoyable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. I’m so glad I chose this place and would definitely book again highly recommend.

Shirley's place was perfect for our little family. In a great location with all the amenities, it has everything you need - especially when travelling with a toddler. We had the best vacation here and would stay again. We would recommend this to all families and friends!

Noelle was super communicative and the condo was comfortable and well-equipped. It was an easy (and flat) five minute walk to Palisades village and lifts.

The stay was amazing with the family. The room had all the amenties, The balcony had a great view of the mountains. It was quiet. All the restaurants and other activities were very close. The room had board games, puzzles and jenga for the kids. Beach items where in the storage shed. The host had heated blankets so we didn't feel cold at night. Check in and check out was very smooth and the Delores had pretty detailed instruction. Would definitely stay here for the convenience of the location and it was just a home at a different place.

Wonderful place for a peaceful escape from daily life. The neighborhood is quiet yet conveniently located, and the well-stocked kitchen was a big plus. Mihai was incredibly friendly and helpful—always quick to respond. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Cory's cute condo is at a perfect location. It is ideal for a family who are looking for proximity to snow activities as well as beautiful nature. You can literally crawl to the skiing slopes. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed, games and the balcony overlooking skiing slopes. We definitely would love to visit again.

Hands down the best vacation we had in Northstar ever. Can’t beat the location and condo has everything you need to feel like home.

We had a lovely stay at Jeanette’s. The place is perfect for our family of 4, very family friendly, clean and a great location. We will definitely be back.
